Many will get upset and in many respects understandably as we've been treated shabbily , yet again , by the often hypocritical if no inconsistent vagaries of the AFL. TBF... all things being at least reasonably equitable. We will go from a team with a struggling forward line to one with Clark, Dawes AND Hogan.....all raring to go . Better ? or more effective ? and I suppose if the latter then by default he must be the former. My meaning is that if he is able to be joined by similarly able bodies out there and they can combine well to use the ball to greater effectiveness then the unit as a whole is better. I think the whole number thing is a bit of a furphy. Back in the day many a lad had to earn his stripes in the turds then magoos then .....then they got on the senior list. It was a tradition to wear higher numbers. Today it doesnt matter a great deal. Apart from rookies , whats the dif ? Someone has to wear a number

From that first game against the Roos you knew this lad had come to play, and always will. A real asset to the club.

What makes me cringe.. this whole thread. Firstly id counter that there is nothing cringeworthy in Hogan being in a piece of digital imagery designed to promote the club. Why would there be ? Seriously...whats this cringe about ? He's a bright upcoming talent whos already dispelled the myth and actually shown he has something ( unlike some others ) He represents a future direction of the club.
