  2. Adelaide off to the puuuuuurrrrrrffeccccttttt start. Might have problems...Geelong...esp if SSelwood a tad hamstrung !
  3. Golly gee. Crows VERY impressive Cats ... Hmmm
  4. Me too. I like Roos' take on the draft. A lottery . Best to trade later for more of a known entity. But there are drafts you might want to go shopping in. I believe '18 is one such draft.
  5. something about the Weed ...Dunno...there's just something that gives me shivers !! Some haunting memory of unrealised potential
  6. The thing is Mr Dee unless you know something 100% ...back to front and upside down and incontrovertibly as fact then you are well appraised to remain schtum !! Venture out from that and you'll find yourself pushing up daises before you get out from under the debt of litigation. I'm sure a lot of us know more than a few pieces of a jigsaw... but maybe not the whole picture. I certainly don't .
  7. my point But are the filth likely to cough up anything we can actually use..... that WOULD be novel !!
  8. This is silly thinking for mine. Any recruiters will happily admit they AREN'T going to get EVERY one right !! Some work out OK, some brilliantly...some leave you thinking.....well @#$% bit of a dud that one. Even if you read all the signs somewhat correctly you may not necessarily be able to tell how far long their destined road they already are. This is where elevating the drafting age comes into vogue. To NOT be able to sit back and say..."well we stuffed that one Harry !!" ...and be truthful to circumstance will hamstring you for all eternity. Success is often bread from mistakes..They happen.. You just try better, or differently next time. The ones you get wrong do NOT detract from the ones you get RIGHT . What would be worse is to compound the failure by not admitting it wasn't , or didn't pan out as expected. SHlT HAPPENS !! wipe ya bum and move on
  9. actually..if you WOULD print it publicly you would effectively have zero credibility. A confidence is..well..confidential surely
  10. theres NO ONE on that list that might be available we'd want.. so only leaves picks
  11. It's diligent of the club to listen to all offers, for anyone. You then dismiss, listen more or print the paperwork accordingly. Listening costs nothing
  12. Im not sure they really care that much. They've opened door, pushedhim out and door's closing. Bit late to be exacting top whack !!
  13. Which fairytale you referencing ? Once upon a time ..
  14. As opposed the fallout if he stays and doesn't ?
  15. @Ouch! Other than defender what's Cols versatility ? Curious
  16. Might be just me. 10 AND 27..Not necessary 10 and something probably If , IF ?? , our 2nd rounder i want theirs back. Play HARD ball dees.
  17. @Thrice Are we different so much in view. Both saying its about understanding your abilities and utilising them as your confidence grows ?
  18. Or a rose is a rose is a rose. The suggestion you don't trade out the talent is fine if, and only if the supposed talent is manifest, realisable and sufficiently timely. From my observations Weed just isn't that good at these levels. Another tall who could run amok as a kid found wanting in a mans game. He seems just this side of clueless as to position playing and rarher limited in traffic. Be interesting to revisit as time marches on. I reckon his 'potential' has all but been exposed. But this is just my view. Im happy with it.
  19. I've seen noting in his "highlights" than screams...must get. Seems just another good VFL player.. Huge difference between mixing it up in the western carnival aka the wawful, and being effective at AFL Hope the club isnt being too rosey here. Still I suppose someone has to take BK's place
