I have absolutely no idea as to the good , bad or otherwise as to this. I had none either regarding Jackson. Id be inclined to think very few do...but some will. Personally im glad we're still looking outside the club at this stage. There's no denying Pert's pedigree and it was probably better than anyone currently with our club. Thats not to say we haven't anyone with good ability...but GP probably has more and the experience in those positions to go with it. We'll have no idea for some whiles. Do well Mr Pert, welcome to your new home. Continue to make it better. I wonder if there will be any fallout ? Go Dees
  2. A wonderful realisation about Bananas...among the few really safe things to eat while traveling...come with own protection
  3. Whilst that funny sideline ..( the QB debacle was on ...) I was speeding through China . The previous day at the Zoo I enjoyed a rather refreshing Ice cream on a stick....very ingenious these Chinese ( Chinese net rules preclude me from adding a picture lol )
  4. Just to advise that even whilst attending the Panda House at Beijing Zoo...one can always practice the art of the Banana Icypole Someone very astute.... that's some serious exposure...no faking
  5. This has all the potential to lift to a whole new level of interesting. Nowhere to hide....that day cometh !!
  6. You'd expect the Aints to go hard ball here.If Vic bound i could see him going to StKilda. Good fit
  7. Are we the new filth ? ie...to be associated by rumours to any and all ?
  8. Ahhhhh.....a window peeper
  9. Anyone know what he's on about ?
  10. Well spotted
  11. Possibly not THE catalyst.. definitely a reason. He is far less 'reactionary' than many inside mids... especially ours !! Some players are mercurial in that when they possess the ball they suddenly seem to have space where there's none. Gus has a slightly different take on that....he seems to harness 'time' . These extra moments that manifest allow him to better think the next move. He's generally very clever with possessions, seldom wasteful... that's gold, that's class. Where some players can often be where they ought not, Brayshaw manages to hunt the ball and be where he can effect something. It's a rare commodity...physicality with nous. He is very important to a successful best 22.
  12. Strange praise
  13. A party ?? ????
  14. Asked and......answered ?
  15. Yes...only non-silly bickering here It's what separates us from the rabble
  16. The number we have even currently is fairly impressive for a club thats done sfa really for over a decade other than make headlines for all the wrong reasons bar say the Jackson years and yet we've still managed negative press as a result of perfecting pretense. You can only coax so many people so many times with promises. Actually start succeeding.....then they'll come.
  17. i'm told a fair number of cats Dogs and ferrets count themselves among StKilda's numbers
  18. No , don't be stupid man...he's Hood. He'll be ensconced in some camouflaged manner ....binocular in hand ......?....awaiting a ripe moment to unleash his Hood'dem . All is well though as I believe the Palace have engaged "Tracy Security " for the event
  19. I'm sure it's self explanatory. But are you perchance an expert ?
  20. I think the razing of that salubrious gentlemen's retreat upon Fitzroy St has rattled some far deeper than originally anticipated.
  21. Refer back to earlier post. Thats just Aussie figures. Worldwide Master Chef is the highest rating cooking show.... Sorry..Master Chef AUSTRALIA is the highest rating cooking show. I probably need to say English speaking but given its translated in more than 20 languages maybe the point is moot. Tis entirely possible China watches something else This show is a freak. Yep , not everyone's cup of tea or braised beef reduced jus.....but it does have its little following. Im glad it was US. Would have been livid had another team cracked that gig. I know one of the chefs often used now as mentor and challeng. He's bloody good. This show put him on the world map. To 100's of millions worldwide...we are the MELBOURNE footy club. Someone take a bow.
  22. You've got me You'll have to spell this one out Ethan. Am terribly sorry it's gone through to the keeper mate
  23. We know we're the Melbourne Footy Club but we've been trying over time to be identified as THE MELBOURNE Football Club When people think Melbourne...and the idea of Football comes up it should be US that is THAT identity. There IS only one club called MELBOURNE. Here we have a show with an audience of squillions doing just that. Ladies and Gentlemen The Melbourne Football Club. The oldest continuing Football Club... anywhere. Thanks MC
  24. Not you....Red
