Im not actually against trading Jack. I just don't blame him for all and sundry. If we can better our list ..trade him. Ive not seen any mention of what we can get in such trading that does this. Im talking real world scenarios not fantasy footy follies.

As to your question, oddly vexed as Watts IS one id count on in clutch games but if he hadn't abided due diligence to the cause then he wouldn't be playing. Nor would any other. I feel Watts is being made the scapegoat for much of the teams ills for which only a much smaller proportion could possibly be of his doing. As much as anyone might question Jacks preparation for games i would question the clubs preparation of him prior to returning from injuries ( and not just him ). On the idea of Bosses and tactics, if an employee is pushing the wrong way id be looking to why.

So Chazz..all the things listed are the problem; Jack is only "A" player in and amongst it all. Jack could be better ? Sure.. again he has 39 or so who could join him in all of that. In many of the games I attended or watched Watts was hardly the worst offender in the opening quarters. The so called leadership on field ( which I beg to remind you Watts is NOT part of ) failed dismally. Jacks far from perfect but he's not the deserving of the pillory he gets from all quarters. keep backpedalling

ya see I don't ...think he's the BIGGEST problem, nor even close to it. Problems at the MFC ; In no particular order. Fail to start most games well, forced into catch up footy more than 50% of the time Over use of handball Incapable of sticking tackles Failure to learn from previous games involving inclement weather Failure to get proper intel on certain grounds Poor kicking out/ Kicking straight to opposition players. Persistence with the Defence Diamond of Death , even when getting split open like a melon. Too much Hospital Handpassing Picking poorly and persisting when obviously back too soon or not "on" Seems to be a question over soft tissue injuries Question over ability to care to "Feet" Lack of a potent forward structure ( actually...do we have one ? ) Too slow to change up games after opposition has obviously worked us out ( and over ) Questionable game plan. Back too open, whilst the front is make it up as you go. Mids seem bereft of good m-o going into fwd 50. Allowing circumstances to prevail that require one of the shorter players ever having to man one of their Taller players, not once, not twice...but almost systematically !! Too many players who cant kick 30m goals out front. General poor kicking . Not many capable of pack marking Inability to apply 80% through game....i.e our BIG FADE -OUTS General poor leadership on ground Goody'd got one thing right...we're just a ninth position middle of the road effort. and Apparently is all that b&stard Watt's fault !!!
