Thats ummm... not a big list. Agree with sentiment.

Welcome to Demonland: Brody Mihocek
Ang , you wouldn't be alone. If nothing else we now have fresh eyes in charge of that list, well, in charge of utilising them. In doing so King and Co will look ( npi ) to best use the players ( existing and new ) in the best way they can determine. Despite King having no direct ( yet ) influence over the list I can quite happily think there HAVE been some specific convos ( even now ) about glaring needs/deficiencies/ wants . Mihocek will have been in the wind for a while. I would imagine List will have quickly broached Coach ... yay/nay ? Its also entirely possible the new boys might have slipped a quick note to the List-lads. We really aren't going to know til ppl are running around kicking sherrins in anger. Like you... I'm just hopeful

Welcome to Demonland: Brody Mihocek
Are we ? We might be... 2019 we were 17th We might be miles off.... or just down the road. We didn't know back then but we needed to make changes. We do now too.

Farewell Judd McVee
'He will sign" So he HADN'T .. despite saying he had. A good result... but....

Welcome to Demonland: Brody Mihocek
The same folk not wanting Mihocek probably wouldn't have wanted Brown. Horses and courses. Some old battered and banged up bloke who can still muster 36 snags might be just a little bit handy... for a while.

Excellent point 👉 Perhaps an.option IS to play out next season , in one fashion or another.... a bit like Tommy....and perhaps just hang up the boots ?? 🤔🤷♂️ Wish hiim well in whatever direction he goes.

Very true... the Circus proper has yet to hit town... we're just seeing the advance 'flyers' strewn around..

Farewell Judd McVee
There was some suggestion even through last season that there were rifts. Bit like tides they came and went in strength but there was some underlying schism . They certainly haven't played at times like they're all on the same page.

We've certainly got the best years of his career. Loved his efforts, passion and relentless desire to win. I do fear the years are catching up. Wish him well where ever. Thanks for the Flag mate. Always a🏆❤️💙 Dee. I sense he can be a little polarising. I have empathy for that !! 🤔😆😆 As a club we appear to have pulled the trigger on turning a corner. Much change in the winds. Will we pull the Lever too ? 🤔 As oft quoted... "there comes a time" Cheers Steve , go well.

Robbie Flower
He was a Football savant. He was a Gazelle to the predators that roamed the field. Loved watching Robbie, loved that he was 'ours' . There were times we really didn't deserve him but he stuck with us through it all. The Murrumbeena Man was amazing. That particular day at Artic Park was all the more solemn for it being Tulip's last dance in the Red and Blue. I doubt it was lost on many of the faithful that as we started to process our exit from the finals that an even greater darkness descending upon us was we had just watched Robbie for the last time. Even after all these years that thought alone brings a tear. He encapsulated everything that you'd ever want to see in a Melbourne Guernsey. Hard to believe that game is getting on to near 40 years ago. I don't think ive ever heard a bad word spoken about Tulip. How often does that ever happen.

Tassie Devils Possible Extinction
The Tasmanian dilemma really serves to highlight how those in that AwFuL ivory tower are clueless and that they operate according to a self invented charter. If only the League would stop stuffing around and stuffing up. If only it would just keep to its real job and not seek to inflict itself upon all and sundry as an uninvited attendee to much of life's goings on. As others have already highlighted this seemingly intransable standoff is nothing more than created folly. Football and Cricket have been played in the Southern State for as long as any really but somehow it's now there is a stumbling block ? The League was happy to install 'startups' elsewhere in humble abodes until they could update. But Tasmania NEEDS a you beaut white elephant circus tent in order to start ?? Im encouraged that there is some modicum of common sense in Tassiecas most elsewhere in this great land it's been pounded into the ground and banished. Let's put this into true perspective. Tassie doesn't need the AFL nearly as much as the Ivory lot need Tassie. If I were the Taswegian Premier I'd be hauling the League into a meeting and explaining life to them in no ambiguous terms. Quite frankly the AFL has lost the plot and in no way should the fair people of the Apple Isle be made to ante up for a new set of Clothes for the Arrogant Emperor. The AFL are attempting a con. Time to get ol Kerrigan on the blower to them....

Tassie Devils Possible Extinction
Nothing.... so what's the real story 🤔 👀 😏

In a fashion you're almost asking the wrong people. Ask any Melbourne supporter who grew up watching Tulip and you will pretty much get a similar answer. Football poetry in motion. Now, go ask supporters and especially players of teams who played against him. They will say essentially the same thing if not more particularly one of the hardest players to play against, one of the fairest adversaries to take the field. Arguably one of the most unlucky to never to have won a Charlie as he personified it. Deserved to play in more successful teams. He was a gentleman, humble and still to this day the best player I've ever had the chance to watch. For many seasons the only reason I went. An absolute champion. He wore 2... but he was number 1 in my book.

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
I too would want Petracca.. a committed, fit, bought-in variety Tracc. I really dont know if we will see that at Melbourne ( again ) Im not really going to gauge him on 25 as there's too much thats contradictory ( imho ) If King wants him... thats all we really need to understand. If he isn't able to feel at home in Red and Blue any more... thats fine... We all move on.
