    i reckon were about the mark. Theres a 'trim' and there's a 'cull' . I cant see that Neeld can , or indeed would bother with a trim. There has to be a major clearout of all non essential players.. Some are clogging, some have clagged !!

    Im not sure that manywill think it carrries water but you need to sell the idea that whomever comes on board can make a difference. These players wont just be anonymous participants they will be intrumental in the resurgent Melbourne. You show them how theyll make a difference. Appeal to the ego Money will help but it wont really be the reason anyone joins. Paint a picture...and given them a brush.

    Seems more than a few have been suffering headaches form constantly whacking their sconce on the , now raised, bar. awwwwwwwwwwwww !!! Well hopefully as many of the NQGEas we can nudge will get the hump and go. He ( rp ) had some good games but lamentably many many average ( and below ) ones.

    And thats still an improvement....and the start of a climb.Im not trying to kid anyone. You certainly couldnt kid anyone that you would want to come to the Dees. It is going to be all out in the open. We do have enormous potential. yes 'potential' can be a rubbery science at best but for those that savour a challenge then we're the place for you You know...there are people that prefer to tilt at a windmill than lounge around in comfort.

    Many are tempted to cringe at the downside, the recent batterings, the bad press and all of that. Yet , how many teams have the potential upside we have. Weve got the people, we've got the resources ( now ) weve got a no nonsense coach whos going to demand the best of you ( potential incomer) Heres a team where you WILL get the chance to spread your wings should you have the ability and ambition. We're a very proud club thats been hurting, but we're coming back. Those who jumnp on are in for one hell of a ride. Fortune faviours the brave. No wimps need apply !!

    Can I have this in NEON please..There are NO ROOKIES IN 2013 There is to be ONE list....just one per club. No more rookies and Vets will be included in the 40 ( just treated differently re the cap ) cheers edit: subsequent to better information there may be NO rookies..or there might be some. Apparently not required , but optional.

    I see the position of Neeld as being a little like a father to kids. The job is to raise, develop, mentor , guide and nuture. Im not familiar with any part of the job description that indicated you had to be a friend to your kids. I think there was far too much matey matey-ness at the club prior to Neeld. Hes now got it back on track. I think this caught Brent ( and others off guard ) The dog is back wagging the tail

    A little light entertainment and brevity amongst the doom and gloom. Pick a number any number. That number is from the net change to our list from 2012 to 2013. Keep in mind there are NO rookies in 2013. Currently there are 46 players. next year there will only be 40 (I think this is right, feel free to correct me ) So I think the logical way to call this is how many names from the total list(s) will remain on the list for 2013. Im going with 31 players will be the same.
