I did see him outside of one of the membership tents on my way in. Could quite possibly just have been in the Presidents club function or in the coaches box learning different elements due to his injury...

I have sat in front of the players on level two of the Olympic Stand at both the Sydney game and the Brisbane game and did not see Tom sitting with the players at anytime at both these matches...

If as reported that the MFC and Casey Scorpions have had a fragmented relationship for a while it would be hard to say that the admin team have not been drawing up an alternative model to convert to if the time came to sever ties with the Scorpions... They wont abandon the VFL team without a solid plan to change to which will take a significant amount of time. I think that we will know by the end of the year if this is to occur, however I doubt that it will be next season by quite possible the one after if the relationships are not mended at Casey in the near future

Pretty sure Jack is off to Europe tomorrow for 12 days with the AIS AFL Academy. Article Here is the link saying that he was selected last year for the intake Interestingly, the first article states that the Australian U17 team will play a match against the Geelong VFL side as a curtain raiser to tonights game at the MCG. Hopefully Jack gets a run and we can see how he has progressed somewhat since last year.

Bit harsh on Morton... Came on as a sub expected to make an impact where he has consistently shown throughout his career that he is more of an accumulator and link man rather than an impact man. Came on to tag Black for a large majority of his time on the ground...

With three of there best players out (Ablett, Brown and Fraser) we will be expected to win by a fairly big margin. It is tipped to thunderstorm on the day so could diminish the free ball movement that a more experienced side would be able to take advantage of...

Bit harsh to compare Jack to one of the greatest full forwards of all time.... Not sure about Coleman's life pre-footy but where was he playing before he debuted? Bet it was not for his high school whilst also choosing between AFL and a career in another professional sport?

Annoying but would rather him be fit and firing for the second half of the season and for many seasons to come than being rushed back and having to have post-season surgery and no preseason...

I remember a similar situation where I tuned into the delayed coverage and for the first half they just ran highlights for 10 minutes then flicked to live coverage when the second half started....

Could be worse... Could be continuously injured like Gumbleton... Injured his hamstring on the weekend to add to the long list of injuries that he has had.... Btw, he has played 22 games since being drafted in 2006... (The same year as Frawley...)

Agreed. I have a feeling that the binge drinking bit was more a push from the club as he didn't really own up to that but more said it after being prompted... Well done to the club for taking a hardline as there is nothing worse than not trusting your team mates (Sylvia a couple of years ago) Said that he was out for dinner (with who it was not said)and had too many drinks....
