We may be there and about but will probably play out like last year where we need to win against the Eagles at Etihad (Hawks at the G last year) to stay in touch with a chance but will lose and fall short of 8th or 7th.

I am not sure how old Patton is but I presume that he is not 17 as he is eligible to be drafted this year.... GWS are only going to trade the four 17yo's at the end of this year that they deem they do not want to draft or that they think they will be able to get more value out of on-trading...

Very good article explaining where Steffy has been in recent times... I think that one of the three (Jamar, Martin and Gawn) need to develop a significant strength up forward if we want to truly utilize them in the best way possible. Essendon's three ruckmen only work when they were contributing up forward but look inept when they are not contributing outside of the ruck
