If Nate Jones walks away at the end of 2015 we are doomed. He is a genuine star. Repeat efforts time and time again, just constantly works unlike most of his teammates.

It's only a matter of time until players are able to be traded without their consent. The players wanted free agency; they got it. One of the clear side effects of that is unrestrained trading, where if the player's contract is honoured then that's all that matters - in other words, they get paid what they're entitled to and where they ply their trade is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. It's part and parcel of all the big American sports, and it'll happen here eventually - probably not for a decade or more (i.e. in two broadcast rights deals), but it will happen.

To be perfectly truthful I've just presumed that Hogan is destined for Freo since the moment we recruited him. Hopefully I'm wrong!

Dawes is the only one I am confident we will see on the park any time soon of the trio we expected to be our star trio. As such it's hard to call him a bust. Clark as we all know is on the LTI, and Hogan...well, it's just 'us' - NSC strikes again! It's going to be another very long year.

I always thought Neitz was a superstar in the same way Chris Grant was - perhaps not competition-wide, but definitely in terms of our club, he absolutely was in my view. I thought that Clark could be the same, but alas it appears not. Nate Jones is in the same way Todd Viney was, just a heart and soul player. We haven't had an actual competition-wide superstar since Robbie. Depressing state of affairs.

i tipped the saints by 20, so sadly it was about what i was expecting. we had no forward line, and our default chf, fitzpatrick, was crocked from early on in the second. mcdonald couldn't run. dunn was hampered. nate jones kept getting smashed on the scone. we have far too many passengers: toumpas, byrnes, howe all far too soft.

watts went right out of the game and then came back into the game.

pedersen misses a dead set sitter running into an open goal. gws will do us like a dinner week after next. fitter, stronger, better all around.
