  1. our vfl game will be on kayo 'freebies' which is the foxtel way of getting you familiar with the platform so they can drive toward subs
  2. He and Maclure are sour and mean-spirited commentators
  3. He ran! And bounced it! And it NEARLY came back to him!! The frothing over him is extraordinary - good tap ruckman and wins some exciting clearances once or twice a game...but that’s all He was robbed of his best years with knee knacks - I expect if he hadn’t been so he would’ve developed into a lot more of a threat around the ground
  4. i don't think the coaches / players etc. will have their eye off the current contest but i do definitely think that the build-up for the game against geelong was clearly fairly significant and a bit of a 'pressure valve' moment; how the players respond in the wake of that and also losing the bookends between that game and this upcoming one will be telling
  5. also bullied the ball forward in the contest when he had his 'turn' rotating thru the centre square he wasn't nearly as poor as some on here are making out
  6. his twin does it too they're naturally talented sportsmen who are used to starring with ease - both have a lot of work to do i think that's one of the key advantages jackson has over them; representing oztraya at underage level basketball has him knowing that there's people out there who are more talented and harder working than he is, and from what we've seen so far his 'desire to compete' is high
  7. what about tinder?
  8. yeah, only heard that after i'd speculated of course, even a non-appearance as a med sub counts as a game played, so... you'd think the med sub will be one of jordon / sparrow / melksham / jones or potentially rivers, although i am loathe to change the back 7 too much when we're already losing may
  9. 25 and unders are okay - billings, marshall, steele, howard, butler, gresham, clark, coffield, bytel, king all should be good long-term afl players but they're all a bit...vanilla, maybe?
  10. any clue who we had after Rowell, Jackson, Green?
  11. 32,056 there Bit low, but maybe 30k is the new 40k?
  12. IN: m brown, petty OUT: may, fritsch jordon the sub this week
  13. mitch brown, your time is now
  14. i remain convinced cos it's outside tv ratings cycle ch 7 won't want to spend the $$ to broadcast in prime time when it's not valuable from an advertising perspective
  15. i'll be going with: tiggas meth coke footscray swans pear bears crows us cats no real confidence in tiggas, meth coke, pear, or bears first time all year i've felt reasonably confident that we should 'get the job done' which means, inevitably, that we won't, if my mfcss hold true
  16. Fortunately it doesn’t matter
  17. interesting that while we are getting deals done, the likes of zerrett and billings are holding off
  18. Caulfield would seem the next best option after Casey given that Toorak Park is not possible
  19. So... when does the MFCSS kick in about him leaving as a free agent at the end of 2023 kick in?
  20. I see this as being a bit like Boak and Gray at Port - they’re best mates and will want to stay together
  21. Never in doubt This side is committed to each other Salem next
  22. He’s RFA Would love him but can’t see how we’d have the $$ cap to pay him and keep Oliver, Salem, et al
  23. You have my vote @ArtificialWisdom
  24. And in 2022 and beyond it becomes no match inside top 40 Which kinda defeats the purpose of the academies
