  1. i advocate bundling it with preuss / t mac / hannan to move up the draft order in some way / shape / form
  2. Latest from the Scum - St Kilda submits offer for free agent Brad Crouch as Adelaide hopes for pick two as compensation “In other trade news, North Melbourne spearhead Ben Brown is expected to nominate Melbourne as his prefered new home to help significantly bolster the Demons’ scoring power. “The Demons are expected to offer a future second-round pick for Brown. “But the move will almost certainly end Tom McDonald’s time at Melbourne with the swingman set to seek a new home, potentially at either GWS or Sydney.”
  3. everyone in my neighbourhood in the south-east of melbourne is wearing a mask at all times; too many maskholes (those who slip it below their nose and chin) but for the most part everyone is trying to 'do the right thing'

that's the thing - who knows? contracts are all secret squirrel with the compo being totally secret herbs and spices, and the afl having the discretion to do whatever they want, the band 1 compo for daniher seems utterly absurd the afl even admitted that we got overs for chip: https://www.afl.com.au/news/126321/revealed-what-it-takes-to-earn-firstround-free-agency-compensation- we were gifted band 1 compo cos the afl had earlier refused to give us a priority pick, which is what we REALLY should have received, given how atrocious we were on field for a five year period, plus an end of first round compo pick for chip whole thing is a farce, as we all know

i think it's a good thing that the newest franchise have put a line in the sand cameron has been their 'marquee' (albeit low key) player for a long time; as recently as midway thru this weird season they were saying that there was nothing to see, he was staying, etc. etc. you can imagine that the change of his intentions threw them for a loop and completely disrupts their plans hope they make jeerlong pay thru the nose
  6. Amazing team and individual player
  7. Or the Cameron one Would be a shame to lose AVB but I would take that deal and run I wonder how much of the salary we’d be taking into next year for the package

based on the compo for daniher, there's simply no way that the free agency offer for cocaine crouch from the aints won't generate pick 2 for the cows it's one day into free agency and i'm more thankful than ever that we traded out our 2020 first last year to make sure we secured pickett

An even bigger farce than us getting band 1 for Chip - makes that one look positively justified
  10. in order of preference from the filth i'd have him ahead of philips, treloar, and thomas
  11. the big advantage of smith was that he was a 'free' acquisition now we'll have to give to get if we can still manage to do t mac / o mac / preuss out for brown / phillips we're, theoretically, #winning as we've added two best 22 players for 3 players in the 23-30 range

this would be the first time in some time (last three, four seasons) that we've been openly targeting a player and missed out on them?
  13. gil has finally achieved every south oztrayan's long-held dream - he's killed the vfl
  14. sounds like a job for richardson
  15. we won't go near walla i don't think; his commitment to effort has been under serious question for a while now and tom langdon's knee would rule him out from any recruitment you'd think; degenerative bone-on-bone is pretty much impossible to overcome
  16. probably a good move tbh
  17. it's depressing when you tend to agree with lloyd and kornes
  18. yeah, tbh i wasn't even thinking about the steak knives and speculative sorts of players...although in saying that the majority of them all lasted more than one season on the list too, which was mostly my point...
  19. the horror, the horror...
  20. in terms of recruits that we've brought in we've not had many 'busts' of late on the presumption that langdon and tomlinson do play for us in 2021 (and beyond), only kk and bennell will have played games in only one season at the club generally speaking, players we've brought in have been regular, best 22 players for extended periods of time, the latter two plus preuss being the only non-success stories
  21. not quick, but smart toby greene-like qualities the difference is of course when greene was higgins' age he was wracking up 30+ possessions a game as a first rotation midfielder
  22. gw$ will be over-indexed for first round picks; they don't need them - they need bodies and experience to allow them to compete in the immediate future preuss and t mac aren't the worst pick-ups
  23. dees don't mess around like that that hawks' second round pick - currently pick 23, most likely will end up ~30 - will get it done get it done, move on

the way the filth are treating treloar is reprehensible here's hoping it does long-term damage to their internal relationships and player management
