Welcome to Demonland - Pick 25 (Dees/Swans Pick Swap)
helps our bargaining position for further on-trading to get into the first round melbourne's 25+28 = 1433 points (equivalent pick 10) north melbourne's 26+30 = 1338 points (equivalent pick 11)

Welcome to Demonland - Pick 25 (Dees/Swans Pick Swap)
i reckon we're definitely targeting whatever 2020 pick footscray get from the peptides - pick 7 / 8 / 9 sort of range

Welcome to Demonland - Pick 25 (Dees/Swans Pick Swap)
i reckon it's all about packaging up picks for points value we won't have 25 and 28 at the draft

Rumour only file ...
apparently you only have to use 1 pick in this year's draft too? i hope we're targeting the pick that the dogs are getting for dunkley from the peptides - pick 9 or so

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
it's not QUITE one red paperclip, but it's not bad! to go back seven or so years... josh kelly + jarman impey = christian salem, jayden hunt, marty hore, and ben brown

essentially preuss for sideshow bob; outstanding work
-
Rumour only file ...
has he signed a new contract?

Hopes for the final trade day
ben brown should happen; would be nice to get him on the 'cheap' andrew phillips for a token late pick and then wait to do the pick upgrade swap til just before / on draft night

2020 Player Reviews: #19 Mitch Hannan
in and out of the best 22 and i honestly see him being much the same at footscray

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
higgins is also still one of the best at his role in the competition cats have arguably paid significant 'overs' but if you factor in smith as well in the trade it's smith and higgins - two genuinely good players - for pick 30 cats are about getting a premiership now; they want to give danger than premiership he (doesn't?) deserve

2020 Player Reviews: #18 Jake Melksham
atrocious output i firmly believe that he stayed in the side only for 'leadership' for the f50 crew - no one else of our core 5 (weed, lj, pickett, spargo, avb, melksham) had anything like his experience needs a big 2021

2020 Player Reviews: #20 Adam Tomlinson
we recruited him to play on the wing at the g; only got a couple of opportunities and his game against the cats was pretty positive - if he'd taken his time and gone back and nailed that set show we might've made finals his form once we headed up north was hideous but i thought once he came back into the side as a key defender i thought he played a really important role it'll be interesting to see how the footy dept utilise him in 2021 and beyond; for mine, he looks a natural part of the backline as he's good one on one, has excellent endurance to run with the 'power running' forwards, and is a neat kick he cost us nothing other than salary cap contribution so...his acquisition worked for me

bargain for us, good get for north, hurts the filth it's a win for mine!

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
weed's best game for us - geelong elimination final in 2018 - he basically played as a chf, roaming everywhere and doing some (minimal) relief ruck work

i think yr missing the point of what i said - he's worth the EQUIVALENT of a first round pick; he's an established regular goalkicker and it's not true that nobody else wants him; we were into him, as too were at least the aints and the peptides who both had 'dialogue' with him i think two picks in the 30-40 range is an absolute bargain for a top range full forward at his peak years
-
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
i'd personally have no issues giving two picks in the 30s - they'll end up being closer to picks in the 40s brown is easily worth a first round draft pick equivalent imo - he's ready to go and a gun, particularly if you compare with cameron over the last five seasons i think it's perfectly justifiable for north to demand more than pick 31 or 33, for instance, given the fact that gw$ are rejecting 3 first round picks for a player who has similar numbers to that which we'd be looking to give up two speculative picks in the 30-40 range

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
and hore i think it'll actually work out as... salem, hunt, hore, brown FOR pick 2 (josh kelly), pick 20 (which became 21, which was jarman impey)

Farewell Braydon Preuss
very happy with that bit of business!
-
Farewell Braydon Preuss
i nearly fell off my chair when i thought that was a done deal if we get anything under pick 50 from gw$ for preuss we'd have to be happy with that
-
Tom Phillips - Outside Skills and Speed
doesn't he want something ridic like $600k a year over the next four seasons? he's....just not that good
-
Farewell Mitch Hannan
more possessions + more goals = higher fantasy points it's primarily geared around high-possession mids and goalscorers supercoach is SLIGHTLY more measured - it accounts for effectively of possessions, as supercoach points = champion data ranking points but they're both still in favour of mids and goalscorers etc. it's not a fair way to measure a player's actual value, particularly for low-possession negating defenders
