  2. would guess so in that max interview he mentioned he's actually moved into the investment property he bought in mornington peninsula as it's closer to casey

  4. i'll plump for jim over max too it's easy to forget he only started actually playing the code at 19 years old in 1986 before becoming a key part of our return to finals max is the best ruckman of his era tho
  5. i think players playing for three or more teams will become more and more the norm the cachet of being a 'one club player' has completely disappeared in the modern era, with afl player and club mentality finally catching up to where overseas sports have been for 40+ years
  6. whatwhat say what replied to Elegt's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons

  7. brown RETIRED retired ? it's howard, carlisle and frawley as the 'emergency' tall defender they really don't have much kpp depth
  8. asked a tigers mate about him he reckons: he's soft he's slow he's ordinary by foot sounds like a straight up easy 'no' to me

  10. as per the club's expectations, finals is a pass mark anything less than that and he'll obviously be out of a job my personal expectation is that we win one final, minimum
  11. carlton finding new and interesting ways to rort this - they've moved betts to the rookie list, automatic saving of $80k from the cap who will be the first club to shift 5x best 22 players onto the rookie list to save $400,000 from their cap? peptides? or the filth?
  12. weid quite literally had the #1 key defender for the majority of the year he and mckay are tracking remarkably similarly, yet everyone is hot to trot for the bluebagger the biggest discrepancy between the pair is that mckay has a higher average number of turnovers, clangers, and marks, and a far worse disposal efficiency
  13. shame it turned out like it did, as he was the exact sort of player we need good luck to him in his post-football life
  14. is there any other way?!??
  15. atrocious 2019; outstanding 2020 all on him for 2021
  16. time to ask them when we will get a premiership / home base / new coach / new ceo / new football manager / new boot studder etc. etc.

  19. this there was a a report not last year but the year before, i think, that the net cost to the afl of running gc17 and gw$ has far exceeded the broadcast revenue uplift that their existence has brought in
  20. i guess the theory is that these guys have ready-made afl bodies by dint of consecutive pre-seasons and also know both the game plan and the culture the club is trying to execute you'd think that none are automatic starters in best 22
  21. treloar ?
  22. That 50m penalty for failing to 'correctly' stand the mark is gonna be...interesting Razor will be in his element: "You moved! That’s 50! Make it 100 for talking back in class!!"
  23. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/melbourne-intend-to-keep-mitch-brown-as-they-lock-in-jackson-20201118-p56fph.html
