  1. significant players coming off contract this year... hibberd: long-term contract when moving over from the peptides; possible retirement looms? jetta: signed his contract in all oztrayan year of 2018; retirement looms? jones: coming off a short term contract; retirement looms? vandenberg: signed a three year deal off the back of 2018 when swans were chasing him hard; is he a required player? weideman: signed a three year extension at the end of 2018 when he was expected to be our primary key forward along with plugger; if he wants to leave, what is his trade currency? significant players coming off contract next year... brayshaw: signed four year deal off the back of 2018, won't have same perceived value moving forward; what is his value in the market? fritsch: having his best year in 2021; will his form in 2022 continue to see his likely contract value rise? spargo: having his best year in 2021; will his form in 2022 continue to see his likely contract value rise? petty: having his best year in 2021; will he be in high demand by both south oztrayan clubs? bowey: coming off the back of his first season; should be a permanent best 22 player at the end of 2022 - what is his value? melksham: long-term contract when moving over from the peptides; possible retirement looms? hunt: massive return to form in 2021; will his form in 2022 continue to see his likely contract value rise? jackson: having his best year in 2021; will he be in high demand by both west oztrayan clubs? mcdonald: signed four year deal off the back of 2018, won't have same perceived value moving forward; what is his value in the (meat) market? i would think given the players coming off contract at the end of this year and the likely high end contracts coming off at the end of 2022 then we should be more than able to 'afford' to keen the likes of jackson, petty, who may hear the clarion call from their home state sides
  2. about to interviewed by whately and lyon on 360
  3. dirty that'd be the end of majak's season
  4. My MFCSS tells me I won’t live to hear the final siren sound…
  5. boom! that's four rising star nominees in 2021 for the dees and the likely winner too
  6. meth coke coming home like a crack pipe
  7. dr d, tgr, olisik - only interested in revelling in misery all on perma-ignore
  8. 6: fristch 5: salem 4: lever 3: langdon 2: gawn 1: jackson fantastic to have a 41 point win and our core midfielders all not be as important as others
  9. perhaps update the ages at end of contract? e.g. trac and salem will be 33 when their contracts expire
  10. max king is a bit like joe daniher - fabulous mark but very hard to trust kicking for goal
  11. presuming you mean aints and blues... would be so good lycett down for the pear
  12. rioli has been playing the set-up across half-back in the second half of this year; has had far higher possession numbers as a result
  13. i can't get over that clarkson has been turfed the hawks' form since the mid-season bye has been excellent
  14. it's less rather than more likely that we can afford those key giants and their top tier talent like (the long term signed up) whitfield, greene, kelly, coniglio, plus the really exciting green, hopper or taranto i'd look at their next tier of rebounding defenders like isaac cumming, or the mids like o'halloran, perryman, and bruhn they all look like they'll be very good afl players and all in their 'pre-contract' year, with new deals due at the end of 2022 the players i'm still most keen on us chasing remain brayden maynard from the filth, ed richards from footscray, and jake riccardi from gw$
  15. i'm as bad as @Demonland, furiously changing results to calculate the likely finals match-ups can definitely see the peptides making it playing old mate joedan and the bears, a sydney clash in the other elimination final for us i reckon it'll be the pear if we win both games or we'll play the cats two weeks in a row...i worry that it'll be two trips down to kardinia park, but if we drop r23 then hopefully practice should make perfect and we knock em off in finals week 1 other top four clash will either be footscray v pear or cats
  16. afl-ready body, knows the system, mature, can cover both tall and mediums as a defender, shows ability to attack the contest, won't be costing us a fortune has had a rotten run with injury and i'm happy to retain him on the list for depth
  17. jeff kennett loves to sell things off; surely he'll take a juicy offer it gutwein ponies up the cash
  18. gw$? footscray puddy tatts pear bears swans? us peptides meth coke? should be some cracking games this weekend with lots on the line
  19. gotta stick with our preferred dry weather mcg structure IN: hibberd, weideman OUT: hunt (inj.), avb avb for medi-sub
  20. on the presumption that t mac is a definite out... OUT: hunt (inj), avb IN: hibberd, weideman i think we want to go with the structure of two tall forwards plus the ruckman rotating forward; the wet weather over west made it necessary to stick with a small, more mobile set-up, but back at the g we want to set up the way we want to play, and have been playing save for last week there was one of those fluffy trade reports in the herald-sun and it talked about how the dees believe weed is still a required player, and it said that if the weather had been fine he would've been in for plugger out with his bung back i actually thought jordon did really well in the rotating defender role, but hibb deserves first crack at resuming defensive duties
  21. a grand final without them would be...good for us? we seem to play the oval well
  22. judging by alan richardson's video i would guess plugger mac is less rather than more likely
  23. i actually wonder, given that there's the 'week off' the following week, whether they schedule it for a 'prime time sunday evening' game to try and maximise what will likely determine who finishes top of the table
  24. Trading in his maggot whistle for a meth coke life membership? Unbelievably bias for his favourite side
