Match Scores Differential - 2021
whatwhat say what replied to Engorged Onion's topic in Melbourne Demons
if we can continue to hit the scoreboard 25-30 times a game while the oppo is only hitting theirs 13-18 times a game we will win more games than we lose -
gryan miers, kicked 1 early and then barely got a touch jetta's position in defence has been important all year

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
whatwhat say what replied to DemonLad5's topic in Melbourne Demons
wow that's an awful outcome coach in the presser said he was being assessed but he'd definitely be out 'weeks' -
may out petty in is the obvious change to make, but like others they may choose to 'go small' and bring hibberd in instead those calling for spargo to be dropped make me laugh

Should be miles up; same story as last three weeks There is a lot to like about the way we play and that we have been down a key back since early that quarter shows that our system holds up

Conditions are perfect for footy today No rain currently, blue skies from the south east, chill in the air... Feels like footy more so than round 1 did that’s for sure

TEAMS: Rd 04 vs Geelong
whatwhat say what replied to Hellaintabadplacetobe's topic in Melbourne Demons
When he got dropped early in 2018 after the failed switch to play as a half back, he came back into the side as a negating half forward - his first job was stopping JJ’s run off half back in the game in which Lever did his knee He was outstanding at the role as he was able to complement his defensive intensity with forward craft - his use of the ball is a weapon both passing and kicking at goal, particularly on the run I’m backing him in to play a role for us going forward -
Garry McIntosh from Norwood would have waltzed into any ‘All Australian’ team during the late 80s to mid 90s

Brilliant defensive effort by Castagna - he cops a lot of knocks but his work rate is like ANB

Channel 7 commentary is ghastly

Super entertaining game

loving the positional uncertainty... rosman a wing? back pocket! mitch brown a tall forward? full back! petty a tall defender? named on the wing! bowey a caleb daniel clone? half-forward! smith a rebounding half-back? forward pocket! bradtke a ruckman? rover! quality work by whoever controls the clipboard for casey

TRAINING: Thursday 8th April 2021
whatwhat say what replied to picket fence's topic in Melbourne Demons
dunno if it's the same these days, but players are limited by what vlad used to dub 'the phys ed-ers' from doing repeat kicking drills so that they're not 'over-working' their legs ross the boss' suggestion that players do 'away from training' goalkicking practice would, i suspect, be frowned on by the fitness staff...which is patently ridiculous -
buddy and the cygnets pear footscray meth coke carltank filth crows us dockers no confidence in swans, dogs, us, dockers in particular, plus there could be a host of other upsets really even round that should be pretty entertaining

Revised 2021 Fixture: Rd 07 & 08
whatwhat say what replied to Bring-Back-Powell's topic in Melbourne Demons
i would expect it to be permanent tbh -
i'd be very pleased if we get over 40k the ticketing system is just too hard for the average fan and we won't get the train-up crowd from sleepy hollow at that 3.20pm timeslot

whatwhat say what replied to Bring-Back-Powell's topic in Melbourne Demons
i presume it's outside the official fta ratings period so less incentive to have a high-cost product on air -
