  1. footscray in the box seat from all reports
  2. bears better win BUT quite frankly, i think both sides 'need' to win bears have been up and about for a solid five seasons now and this is their first genuine chance of winning a premiership in that time the filth, on the other hand, i just don't see as playing a 'sustainable' brand of football
  3. blake acres is the arc specialist
  4. i'm all aboard the baggers filth vs baggers grand final will be enormous and at least one team's supporter's base will be miserabubble
  5. bears are lucky they played the pear in week 1 of the finals; those two sides have a history of choking in finals under their current regimes at least we have 2021
  6. it'll be a third, or a future third, you'd think
  7. fish is not interested in resuming an afl career
  8. rehearsal for his role as next skipper
  9. game has opened right up good to watch
  10. c7 commentary is just horrific
  11. a billion indians, 235m pakistanis, 50m poms, 20m sri lankans, 15m oztrayans, 10m south africans...
  12. cos it was a 50m penalty - no advantage paid from that; play is effectively stopped til the mark is set 50m downfield
  13. gw$ pressure is elite filth are so hard at the contest this could be a helluva game
  14. pearce + hore + hanks + purcell vs gawn + petracca + oliver + viney two of the best midfield combos i've ever seen yet they STILL lose the clearances
  15. it is just absurd that games are being played as these suburban locations what is the docklands stadium for, exactly? who owns it, again?
  16. geez, if north get pick 3 as mckay compo, a mid 1st rounder (pick 11), a future end of 1st rounder, and free dibs on sanders... that would be HUGE
  17. do we? players currently in that bracket harmes petracca anb brayshaw langdon joel smith fritsch oliver schache petty spargo chandler sparrow not a bad spread of premiership players in that lot
  18. i fully expect it'll be a pick around what he cost us but, most importantly, we're not contributing to his salary at all for the next five years of his contract
  19. it'll be interesting to see if he does bring them back to the training track earlier i don't know what that will achieve personally our fitness base and desire for the contest is not in question; our skills and composure most certainly is, the latter of which is mental being berated after choking the way they did and then whipped on the track is not consistent with the leadership tropes goodwin has displayed previously
  20. expecting the filth and the bears hoping for gw$ and the bears
  21. and a really, really good one unfortunately, doesn't suit our structure
  22. hawthorn didn't even make finals after winning a premiership in 2008, and were in finals for the two years before that their next grand final wasn't til 2012, and then they won three in a row took scott 12 years between premierships at geelong, and that was after inheriting a list that had won two of the previous four premierships both these clubs had huge advantages in that they had the introduction of the two northern franchises accompanied with the introduction of free agency we won't have the advantages that either of those clubs had, but absolutely we should be contending for finals for a consistent period of time 2021-23 have been the three most successful years we've had since the norm smith era i fully agree if this group doesn't achieve another premiership it will have been a massive opportunity lost i expect us to compete for premierships some time to come they're not easy to win
