  1. Liverpool just beat Barcelona 4-0 at Wembley, lucky I had those plastic sheets up.
  2. The win in Geelong doesn't even come close. It was fun but don't forget Geelong were rubbish last year. Best win since the Saints final I reckon. Hawthorn were busting a gut to win this, and we broke their back. Reminded me of when Hawthorn were real shyte, then after drafting and a bit of time, you saw them finally click. Let's hope similar success awaits.
  3. The field dribble kick is the new drop punt, just watch it take off. Clearly blew the game open. Hawks never recovered from it. I've been critical, but he was good today. Just needs to develop and back himself more, his skills aren't bad. Field dribble kick, mate.
  4. Hope so. Then Vince can go back to where he won a b'n'f. Everybody wins.
  5. A few rubbish low scores this week, the week after Roos said teams are getting tired and the footy gets a bit uglier. Meanwhile the youngest team we've put out beat the reigning premier and posted the 2nd highest score of the round thius far. Getting too easy this caper.
  6. Adelaide a lazy 94 points at half time. MFCSS tells me the AFL might send Roos, Gawn, Petracca and Oliver to Brisbane after today's events.
  7. Nope. Pedo gets to more contests, and unlike Dawes who just sticks his ping pong racquets up in every contest, Pedo will fist the [censored] out of it if he's not a chance to mark it. He's also more versatile. Pedo is a better player, nothing silly about that.
  8. 6 - Gawn 5 - Viney 4 - Watts 3 - Jones 2 - Tyson 1 - Oliver
  9. Whether it was a fair bump or not (leaning towards not, in today's game) it was a [censored] huge bump, and I suspect lesser players would have struggled to get up from a hit like that. Yet this beast comes out in the next quarter and puts his stamp on the game. Bloody brilliant. Some of his dish-offs are ridiculous. They're like hawthorn ones, but they're actually handballs not throws.
  10. Was also going to ask why this is even a poll? One can play football, the other is liked by Stuie.
  11. This umpiring is an absolute [censored] joke. I don't normally give a [censored] about umpiring but [censored] these [censored]. Apart from that, what a ripper game. Some of our ball movement would destroy a lot of other teams, but Hawthorn are always right with ya and cause that last fumble. We're getting there. I think we'll run out of steam as usual, but I hope the intensity stays.
  12. Hate to say it but the forward line looks so much better without Hogan. Less Hail Mary's. Geez that was a tough quarter of footy.
  13. That's brilliant.
  14. Out of interest, how many clubs would have genuine competition for #1 ruckman. Not many off the top of my head. As for these 3, Vickery is frightened and no ruckman. Holmes rucked well against Gawn for half a NAB match, not sure what else he offers. Majak is the classic potentially maybe, I think he'd be in the same position at MFC as he is at North. Just not offering enough to push anyone out for a regular spot.
  15. I didn't answer it but googled the number, was an 02 number. My investigation lead me to believe the same number is calling all different club supporters offering deals. Dunno if it's legit or not though.
  16. Haven't read the thread but I noticed Tyson having good high up feel of his hammy after the game. Was giving it a deep fingering. So keep an eye on if he's in full training this week. Wouldn't mind if Hogan misses this week. Have a more defensively mobile forward line to stop the Hawks waltzing it out.
  17. Absolutely love him. Me and my mate joke about how he's never made a mistake. He's so clean. Kicked it out on the full yesterday, that could be one mistake, but I'm going to blame whoever he was kicking to for not being able to jump high enough. Exactly the the sort of player we need to, so his development is coming along nicely. Will be another big improver after a good preseason.
  18. I don't like either of them. Does Oscar get out-marked for the first opposition goal of every game? I reckon there's been at least 6 times. He'll improve though I'm sure, he's just not physically ready to defend. His brother should take the money and gtfo, and hopefully we trade in a key defender that'll do the same job for less.
  19. 12 behinds I assume?
  20. He was talking about the umpire. It's humour.
  21. Hahaha Garland with a great tackle, should've been holding the ball, instead goes the other way. Bush league for you next week mr umpire.
  22. Nah, Clint Biz has Tourette's.
