  1. he didnt play much in the last quater though did he?
  2. i like it as is, i like the idea of players sons staying at the club their fathers played for even if its geelong reaping the rewards at the moment
  3. i think moloney and TJ will both miss
  4. hahahahahaha i get a little carried aay and forget to check my spelling (which im terrible at anyway )
  5. quite funny how you are refering to my sig about getting rid of ND and how its bad etc etc whilst in the post before it you say " i want mick mcguane" now explain how you can have a go at me for having an opinion on the coach then go to a thread about who to replace him with and put up a name of a guy you would like to replace him with? dont you find that a bit of a contradiction? dont have kids to yell that out to yet im not a supporter, im a member and one with an opinion and one who loves the fact that this country has something called fee speech unlike some communist country where you can not have an opinion, if you dont like that fact i suggest you either ignore, not read, care what i post or move to a country where you can only say what is deemed acceptable by all
  6. agree, i dont like the guy on the field but i wish him a full and speedy recovery
  7. my exact thoughts wonder how many more times this will come up, he deserved 3 weeks for what he did, reduced sentence i agree with, 0 weeks is absurd
  8. a couple of years ago we always used the huddle and i think it worked quite well why wouldnt we bring it back since we are struggling to bring the ball back in after points
  9. i agree to a extent, but not hard to take in 5 words compared to 20 odd
  10. yeah most of the injuries have been structural not tissue and the ones that have have been by those who missed more or less last year with op as well
  11. i was discussing our recent run of games with mate earlier today and we spoke about everything and one thing that came up was how much do the players feel we support them on the day, unlike soccer with the singing we really only cause a lot of noise when a goal is scored or big tackle is laid, or the umps crucify us again this lead to the banners the players run through now dont get me wrong i like a lot of the slogans that are placed upon the banners and all the hard work and effort that goes into making them (kudos to all involved) but would it be worth having maybe at time something more meaningful on the banners? ie like now we are down the players would be too and would something simple like a message from fans to players help lift them when they saw it at 2:00 pm game day like an appropriate one would be (ill steal another few clubs motto) simply "YOU WILL NEVER WALK ALONE" now i hate liverpool and celtic who are 2 big clubs who use it but the amount of times ive heard players say when the team was down they knew the fans would always stick by them, they might [censored] and moan a bit but in the end the supporters will stick thick would the players get a lift from seeing the banner simply read that? i think they would, i think they would appreciate the fact that we dont boo them off the ground and will stick by them through the tougher times what are your thoughts?
  12. he most defiantly could go there but as said he has been the best defender for us, but if petterd playes maybe they could swap of the half back flank
  13. i have a feeling he wont play, how often do we hear " he will play" but doesnt becuase the club is trying to keep the opposition guessing i dont think he will play but im praying he is right and does play
  14. we pay because we love the club! we pay because we dont want our club to become a fitzroy we pay because we dream of the last day in september
  15. we will survive and move forward next year and a new coach and some decent drafting will get the people back, we have always had the same sort of numbers whether it has been a good year or bad
  16. i just seriously cant predict anything anymore and look it really comes down to the fact that if moloney is out as well as TJ and sylvia and pickett arent fit, then we are, im sorry to say F.U.#.&.E.D.
  17. sheedy if available longmire or odonnell would be nice mckenna ratten would be a good one too, loved his work with us before think harvey has missed his boat would love voss as a assistant garry lyon said on triple M the other week that he will NOT coach afl football next year and possibly never! and the way he was saying it i beleive the never bit
  18. why put him in a position where he might do something good? sounds logical that does
  19. we are terrible at bringing the ball in from a set shot, or having to wait a few seconds for the ball we seem to be already in position before the guy kicking it in is ready and then they all stand there
  20. can we just forfeit the rest of the season so we can have fit players for next year
  21. i would cry if i wasnt in so much shock
  22. i noticed them clash behind play but i dint notice a punch bell has been great so far this year and im glad because he has the makings of a great player
  23. because im sure that thats all the rest of the team want to do is play for money! as i have said before the guy tries and i admire him for that...BUT his skills are terrible, he turns the ball over too often, he isnt a tagger anymore and if they try him as one he gets slaughtered (crawford last week), we have too many unskilled players in the one side, and last but the most important one of all he takes a spot from the likes of CJ or petterd who can and will be much better players
  24. i was on the sack the coach bandwagon in 2003! i actually have built the bloody wagon! im still there every week so by that i beleive i earn the right to speak ill of the club i love and im sure after every loss this year i will be the same and next year and the year after etc etc etc
