With those possessions, you need to see how long they were, if they were a safe kick back etc How many frees against, scores or shots on goal they were a part of, etc etc. When you see M Jones play you see desire and effort, good speed, works hard. But you also see silly frees against, the guy can't seem to tackle and not a lot of upside. With Salem it's nothing but upside. If M Jones had that shot v Essendon I would have been nervous as hell. With Salem I was very confident he would kick it. So much upside with Salem.

Yep. His run is great but he is careless and his kicking is iffy too.

The only major flaw I see with Roos is his persistence with Bail and M Jones. We play with them and we are already behind our opponents. With M Jones they start with two in the back tackles per game.

Wouldn't be a bad sub, easily better than a handful.

Questions to ask. Is his form better than some of the plebs in the seniors? Yes, play him. No. Keep him at Casey until it is. He is big enough, old enough to hold his own, JKH is half his size and played last year.
