Fluffed it last week and forgot my tips. This week goes Packers, Bengals, Patriots.

I've got no doubt about that at all. We'll all be taking turns . Nothing worse than your team getting a big juicy sack and getting the rush of blood only to see the flag down.

1964 memories- calling our older supporters
What I’d give to be in an empty MCG and have one of the great people here recall their memories of the day! Student of the game, guilty as charged! Just love history!

Also now that Ryan Fitzpatrick has won two games and is officially now QB royalty (judging by the way he turned up to his presser), is Winston in trouble?

Just finished watching the Niners v Lions game and all I’ll say is it’s good to get a win. Played well for 2 1/2 quarters but in my mind the Lions went from being a joke to a team that is giving it a fair crack this season. They really need to clean up on their penalties though. Only other game I’ve seen is extended highlights of Vikes @ Packers and wow what a belter. The Matthews hit is just another example of this new rule, it’s going to be real tough to lay a hit on a QB and I look forward to the next week when what was once a good hit wipes off a good play. You can’t bring ‘half pressure’ on a QB. Very good game though I think both those teams will be at the pointy end.

Not from that era I’m in my 30s, but I just wanted to say that I’ve watched that highlights reel so many times I have it memorised.

So currently 2-0 with 20 mins left. Spurs have had moments but have generally looked off the boil.

To have a clean pocket means everything for a QB. For instance I think Dak Prescott is a decent QB. Will never be a star but I think he can turn out to be a good B or B+ QB. That line has made him look like Brady in recent years.

I'm along that line of thinking too. Love Rodgers but I'm a massive Brady nut.

NFL
That's fair enough, he is a great clutch performer. Reason I've gone with Brady is the playoff record and for venues and conditions there's one stat that bothers me with Rodgers. Win/loss at Lambeau - 61-16, win/loss on the road - 43-39. Pats definitely much better O-line over the years, that's the secret sauce. Aaron has had some shocking lines.

Yeah very true. There are so many variables and it all depends on how we define best. It's also important to note Gorgoroth has said at their best and not in general. This is how I see it in general though: If we're talking both QBs purely on talent and arm it's easily Rodgers If we're talking about football IQ and line of scrimmage it's easily Brady If we're talking about clutch performers in all weather at any venue it's Brady. If we're talking about the talent around them well Brady has played with 1 HOF receiver in his whole career and when he did, broke the season TD record. While Aaron has usually had Pro Bowl Wide outs. Leadership - Brady by a stretch Long story short: On their day Rodgers is better. But Brady is the better QB.

NFL
In the purest form of the question which would probably be based on talent. It's Rodgers

Yeah you’re supposed to apparently roll out mid tackle. Real tough to do for an edge rusher going at full bore!

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Reading and calmly analysing seems to be the last thing people do in this thread..

Jayden Hunt
His fall is not unheard of. This is a tough team to break into. I'd like to see him retained, I think another pre-season and some re-jigging of his game could see him back in the 22.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I do see where you're coming from Binman. I'm certainly not saying he needs to prove he wants to stay by signing it's more just the club getting on the front foot with his management and selling the benefit of signing a new deal in the next few months. The message it would send to the members etc. It's definitely not unheard of to be carrying out negotiations 12 - 18 months out and after seeing the way this FD and list management has functioned this year I'm tipping that they are probably doing just that. You are right though in that putting pressure on the guy is not wise after everything he's been through so of course it needs to be handled delicately.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Huh? Action from the club. Let's make a good contract offer and sell the positive benefit of signing now. Could definitely do without the mass distraction next year.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I don’t want to trade Hogan but a scenario like this has to at very least make you stop and think.

I fully expect Freo to throw the Kitchen sink at Hogan this year.

NFL
Yeah that’s the thing. He threw that pick 6 but it didn’t stop him from going deep and he found Pettis on the next one. You gotta be able to forget that last throw.

He definitely hung in there, just a few errant throws. He’ll learn from it.
