  1. I can’t watch this right now. I’m just gonna record it on IQ and fast forward to all the Melbourne bits later
  2. Was never even close to seeing the great man play but even I would say 31 is such an iconic number. 2 has had the most champions. Maybe not the most iconic but no. 5 is the most special MFC number to me. It was the first I ever wore on my back (for The Ox) and I’m happy to say I still wear this on my back now for Trac!
  3. It would be easy to say the guy couldn’t coach his way out of a paper bag (which there is a good case for) but I’m sure he must have done something right to be a competent assistant at Collingwood in that period. A lot of people here are still reeling a bit from the way the guy sent us back to the Stone Age and I understand that. Just have to give the tiniest little bit of credit where it’s due.
  4. I remember having to sing this song for music class in primary school. Was pretty catchy.

I would say Tyson for Viney but Vince could be rested. I’d love to see Garlett back for Carlton but there’s no chance in hell of that happening
  6. Look he may not have been super effective as he can be but he surely took a big step in the right direction! 27 disposals, ran hard all game and kicked 2 in my opinion crucial goals when it looked like no-one could hit a cows a*se with a banjo. Good stuff Christian! Keep it up.
  7. 6 - T. McDonald 5 - Harmes 4 - Oliver 3 - Gawn 2 - Fritsch 1 - Lewis
  8. Very happy. Beat them in every facet of the game. Wasteful with the inside 50s early but that last quarter did a lot to atone for that. Took a good step.
  9. If Whately is bad then that doesn’t really say a lot for any commentator in the game. I’d like to hear some examples of who is better.
  10. Awesome. Get Oscar signed and hopefully that will be a little leverage to get Tom signed!
  11. I hope he has a very big say in appointing his successor
  12. Disappointed to lose Hickey she was my favourite of our players. Makes sense that she’s off to Geelong with the family history. Cranston is a massive loss!
  13. Hopefully he played a terrible game. Thats right JW lovers come get me!
  14. Yes we should not have a vendetta against Jack and should not celebrate his poor games. Screw that. I’m happy to say that I was happy he didn’t do that well and will continue to be the next time he plays a honker. There’s many times as a supporter when you just have to eat it over a bad trade. I’ll be darned if I’m eating it over this.
  15. A lot of people here are happy to see him do well. And honestly, I wish I was like that. I hope this is as good as it gets for Watts at Port. I want to see a few stinkers and pooncey attempts at tackles like we had to watch for us all those dark afternoons at the g.

I’m wondering where Mathieu is going to end up.
  17. Done and dusted now. Hopefully we can take a lot out of the experience and build some trust between FD and playing group. In the meantime we got a season to prepare for.
  18. Great news! Something Mitch offers is the ability to just get the ball to his boot and put it in the vicinity of the goal. To use a soccer term he turns a half chance into a goal quite naturally.
  19. Great news. Obviously would have liked a slightly longer deal but this is the way it is. Gonna be well placed for a bumper deal come 2020.

What a Superbowl! Always seems to come down to little moments and the Brady fumble was one of them. Game of inches. On to free agency and the draft which can sometimes be as exciting as the games. Stoked my 49ers have locked up Jimmy G for 5 years. Paid up big but that’s what it takes now to get a franchise signal caller. Gonna be a great battle in the NFC West for years to come with Mcvay-Goff and Shanahan-Garoppolo. Pete Carroll and the Seahawks will have their work cut out!

There's definitely gotta be more to him than that run and leap for us to consider him. With Watts gone I'd really like a reliable kick for goal so if anyone can comment on his set shooting that would be appreciated. I suppose you're doing alright with 73 goals. Having said all this our club has a proud history of guys who can take a screamer, we should have one in the side at all times
  22. Welcome Harley! Really hope he can be a bit of a surprise packet for us. Just needs to get those mental issues sorted and hopefully his wrist has been mended, from what I hear it severely limited his ability for weights work and training.
  23. Calculated risk. Hope he stays injury free and helps lead our backline for years to come! Welcome Jake!

Even I'm thinking of tipping the Rams this week. Even though we took it to the Seahawks. Hoyer not bringing home the biscuits IMO.

The Panthers are a weird one. I wasn't that impressed with them in week 1. They may well have the most fierce defense around though and Luke Kuechly is back to his old self.
