  1. My guess would be Wed night Old Dee but really no idea either.
  2. I agree, much more to his game than flopping. Looked very good against the G's.
  3. After what we've seen from those examples you mentioned and heaps more, it doesn't strike as a method for success does it? Ideally you'd want the team built from the ground up rather than the bank breaker that means others down the track leave.
  4. So now we're thinking mental health concerns for Daw and not injury?

    "PLAYOFFS?"
  6. This is a joke
  7. A good differential is a thinking differential..
  8. Good job AFL! You've earned a good rest after all this brainbusting.
  9. Yesssss!
  10. Cats definitely looked like they'd been loading. Sluggishness central

I'm sick of trying to solve this problem. The AFL can do it.
  12. Not that there's a good answer to that question but I reckon yours is. Great 3-piece band 😀
  13. Who are they playing next week? Do we need to care?
  14. Decent round, most of the right teams won.
  15. Very clever. BTW do you think of Geddy Lee as more of a Bass or Keys player? Or just good old both?
  16. 74% efficiency sure has been very good from him. Always thought he was a good kick either side, his issues were never technical but maybe erred with decision making. This year he's been as composed as ever.

    Agree, total bal*s up. Again.
  18. Come on mate he's got a break and a real good chance to get over to Bali! Nothing can go wrong he's indestructible.

I rarely buy food at the ground. In a pinch I might but it's usually BYO, eat before, eat after or nothing.
  20. Awesome, tipped Port

The beauty of AFL footy was that the game alone was the entertainment. It was always the other sports in the world like NRL and basketball that needed that stuff and even music in-game to keep people engaged. I filled out the MFC member game days experience survey and at the end I just wrote that while I don't mind MFC's gameday experience compared to other clubs, I'd honestly still be coming if there was no entertainment and I had to BYO snacks.
  22. Yeah almost impossible not to like Brisbane. My great uncle was a Roy boy, no qualms with them winning it if we don't
  23. Pretty much exactly the way I think about it, in business terms. I never buy into sound bites of players loving the club or how Gus sounds so happy on the podcast, I buy into signatures on dotted lines and even these days that's proving to be no guarantee of keeping someone long term. The list is all I care about. Yes I'd have some love for him after what he did for us but no-one is bigger than the club.

No venue has any idea about this stuff at the moment. So many places I've been lately blast the audio so loud you can't hear yourself think let alone have a conversation with the person next to you. I'm not a 19 y.o at a nightclub anymore turn it down a notch!
  25. Can't help but think Bailey Smith is NOT the new story. it's been 10 straight days of MFC plastering in the media..
