  1. Kind of makes you think. Instead of those prodigies lets say they had some decent KPP prospects but ones that took a lot longer to develop, say Crawford retires earlier, say Rioli turned out to be Donald Cockatoo-Collins.. Would they have gotten enough results early on to ensure he was given the time he needed to build it? Or could he have been another David Noble in history? Especially with a president that wanted to sack him after he'd already won a flag.
  2. Sounds like something out of Celebrity Deathmatch!
  3. Midfield unit is too good to drop completely. Question is definitely going to be about where the goals come from, still expecting top 8 from them.
  4. Clearly doesn't think much of Luke Jackson
  5. Death, taxes and Punt Rd being bumper to bumper.
  6. NFL

What was the story with Bobby Wagner Gorg? Was there any chance to re-sign or was it likely a one and done scenario?
  7. We should all go and see this in gold class.
  8. It does make me feel good that our two high profile recruits have a massive point to prove. A good chip on the shoulder doesn't hurt
  9. I've brought this up before but would like to re-visit. For those who were lucky enough to see the great man play, which current day player did his style most resemble? If any? I never saw him live but from all the books, stories from uncles, tidbits from folks on here, the limited tv footage I got my hands on, I get an image in my head of someone like Paddy Dangerfield. Someone who was like a fierce mountain lion released from the cage moments before the ball was bounced. Most great footballers have killer instinct and bottle but players like this took it to a new level. Really keen to hear your comparisons and if there aren't any and he was just one of a kind, I'm happy to hear that too.
  10. Looking forward to the next update, saves me having to listen to it 😝
  11. I'd be expecting to see McVee out there again along with others.
  12. People expect the drop off, it could very well happen. Could they win it again? Yes they could. Fact is that this is a club that knows how to get to the pointy end and then it's a new tournament. If they stay healthy they will have another shot at it.
  13. Is this comment a dig though or is it just stupid?
  14. I don't usually mind these guys and their season previews but this one didn't really do anything.
  15. Death, taxes and someone complaining about how the membership, marketing and PR departments operate at the club.
  16. Hate to say it but you're right.
  17. It's all about the tap brothers.
  18. Too good!
  19. Well, yeah. The longer he's unsigned the more chance he is to leave, that's fairly obvious isn't it?
  20. Agree. We were challenging and he gave us the best chance to win, whether people thought he was cr*p or not.
  21. Its not bad for a bite sized news injection.
