  1. I asked this in the ticketing thread but I don't think anyone knows.
  2. Exactly. I loved 2021, we all did and the circumstances in a crazy way made it uniquely ours. But there was just a little something missing. You say it didn't feel quite real because it was in Perth, in the leadup to it and being cooped up at home and maybe watching the matches over Zoom with others it felt like a video game. I'll admit it was a bit better than that but there were so many things that I felt were robbed from us: I wanted to go to a Grand Final Parade. I wanted to be there at the G, I wanted to be there with my mate I've been going with week in week out for 15 years and possibly most of all I wanted to go to a next day celebration at Gosch's with all of you. My bro is a Cats fan and he got to go last year. I'm getting a bit old for bitterness but I must say I couldn't help but be jealous. Of course this doesn't mean the same thing for everyone, some people are very happy watching us on Kayo, some live interstate etc but these are the things that really mean something to me and many others. It is an itch that needs to be scratched. One more for the decade please.
  3. Yep and I couldn't agree more. Monday night is ok at best but Wednesday night is just open lip service night.
  4. The stepping left suggestion reminds me of the pirouetting action they said Viney should have done all those years ago.

This is exactly it. It's been a while since I was over there but they used to have some kind of affordable BBC cable service which had most games and then everything exploded to other services when all games became televised I think. It's madness to think you either need a season ticket to go each week or find some other way to watch.
  6. Surely that one is retired. It would have to come up again in the form of something like: "Has Goodwin lost the touch?" Or "Is it time to change?"
  7. Think I'm done with this subject, 1 day was enough.
  8. Wow. I have English as All Australian ruckman right now and Derm has him 6th! Will close the door behind me..
  9. You just know all this is leading to that.
  10. That would be a bit exciting!
  11. And that's where you have to win it on the big day.
  12. Too right John, pick 4-5 is a good year's deathriding work from us I'd say.
  13. Give it to Harmsey I say.
  14. I would have done the same!
  15. I want to start enjoying this thread again.
  16. I'm with you. Anything with life at stake trumps all.
  17. Is it because you keep expecting it to be updated? 🙂
  18. Absolutely. I will occasionally watch the Monday one as it can be somewhat watchable but the Wed one is truly embarrassing and cringe.
  19. We just need to win this week. Then concentrate on next week when it comes.
  20. Exactly. Plenty of twists and turns in the back half of the season for all teams, nothing ever goes to script. Get Clarry right and we're in with a show.
  21. Excellent post sir.
  22. I'm losing the time and energy for this. Just take the week and move on. It's a total joke, we all all know it's a total joke. It's the way it is for now.
  23. Half way through this week's episode. Good to hear the different approach to grieving the loss this week. I think I was the other way round myself where I needed DL to vent and ramble like a silly person but shielded myself from First crack and all those shows.
  24. Oh good you can answer my question directly then 😝
