My time at Carey was pretty up and down and didn't have many long lasting friendships from school but the name did carry significance and it's nice to be able to say I went there. I also lost some passion for sport as the culture was a bit relentless especially in the rowing side of things. It's a big investment and down to the kid's interests as said but I do still admire Pennant and others who make the commitment. They're lucky to have you as parents.

That leap is a chip off the old block in itself!

It's on the bucket list trust me, more so than Gather Round or any other interstate trip.

Definitely one of the great modern rivalries but also the oldest rivalry. I do wish that was publicised a bit more.
