  1. Thanks Jaded. Of course I'll stick around I'd just had enough last night and some of the non footy related smut was too much for me. I was also told yesterday that my relationship with footy was getting unhealthy and having an effect on people close. Bit embarrassing to go into more detail here. I will say that there's also people one here that get unfairly brushed with the negative tag when really a lot of them are very well rounded footy fans.
  2. Oh you can make a decent day of it for sure! Problem is we raced through them with about 30 mins at each tops! Plenty of good wines on the boat though 😉
  3. It's great that a lot of people haven't given up but sometimes this place is just a big echo chamber with people calling out this place for the very behaviour they are guilty of 90% of the time. I've been one of these in the past too. I'm actually over it and don't need to be on here anymore.
  4. Agree. But some said the same thing about Carlton last week and they are now running for the hills..
  5. My problem is I've been trying too hard to recreate the wheel with these kinds of sayings and they really aren't taking. Really need to keep it simple.
  6. Well you know what they say: Opinions are like onions, everyone has one and many layers of...... You get the picture, sort of.
  7. Got himmmmmmmm!
  8. Haha that's hilarious, can't believe I missed that!
  9. This is exactly what I was thinking. I'm intruiged by this though, claims to be just as rounded. Well that and Max is on the ad.
  10. Anyone had Pepperjack Mid-Strength Shiraz?
  11. What's the equal?
  12. Next time I go I'll be spending more time in the valley for sure. The boat cruise we did from Barracks was amazing but we really raced through the 2 Wineries and 1 Brewery that day.
  13. Tomlinson up forward.. At this point anything is worth a shot but it is sort of like asking the Post Office to hold your mail and hoping the bank will pay your bills for you when you don't get them.
  14. Maybe just a routine call
  15. Yeah and to take it even further everything looks good when you remember it and everything looks bad when you remember it.
  16. I like it, I'm going to do the same.
  17. Then it would be 'papering over the cracks'.
  18. Our form has been ok, putting those games up against this one if you only told me the opposition score I'd assumed we'd won. We've just lost too many games like this against fellow top 8 teams. This one felt a lot like Port, annoying.
  19. In all honesty, 9 times out of 10 they probably pay it a goal as well.
  20. I just can't believe Carlton have won 8 in a row. It's perverse
  21. I'd like to agree on handleable but sometimes it just isn't and I won't be tolerating any of it or wasting my free time in it.
  22. Don't forget crowd abuse Bin.
  23. There's nothing I can say about selection on a Sunday that will be of any help. Especially from that VFL game.
  24. No you didn't. You always win us the game. And if JVR is on the other side you're in the perfect spot. Sorry I love joking on here any other week but on top of everything you mentioned that has happened to you lately then the blatent racism and racism enablers on here in the last 24 hrs I'm not finding much humour in it all, sorry wet blanket I know. Not a good 24 hrs for DL.
  25. Stand corrected. Will let people choose their own word.
