Buddy Retires Effective Immediately
At least you're 30! Plenty of youth left!

Have we officially found our full forward?
And also being defenders they would be used to being accountable and can do a job watching opposition intercept defenders!

COACHES VOTES: Rd 20 2023
You are right on the money. How about Zorko moaning to the media about it afterwards in a similar fashion to last year? Just on Touk though he very much deserved maximum votes. His job on Lachie Neale was the best I've seen this year on any star mid, kept him to 17 touches and got 29 for himself. A massive part of their win and how they have missed him dearly.

Aliir Aliir & Lachie Jones in Concussion Protocol
So the first section of the SCAT5 test is looking for red flags and these include neck pain, double vision, tingling, seizure, vomiting etc. I'd have thought common sense would have prevailed and that migrane could stand alongside most of these red flags. Without knowing how they operate and not wanting to pass too much judgement, the optics still look terrible.

Really impressed me in that Grand Final. Obviously a big jump to AFL for a ruckman but could be worth inviting to train over Summer?- PREGAME: Rd 21 vs North Melbourne

I don't know enough on the workings of this to openly criticise club medical staff but I think it's beyond that now. The decision may well need to be taken out of player and club's hands as it is a conflict of interest and it doesn't matter if 9 times out of 10 they are doing the right thing because just 1 time is too many. As I said I'm not a doctor but I really don't know in what world they thought it wasn't necessary to perform a SCAT5 test on Aliir. How can you go through all the checks and deem him ok to continue when the test itself can't be done in less than 10 minutes? (Please feel free to correct me if facts aren't straight).- POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs Richmond

Shamozzle- Buddy Retires Effective Immediately
Amazing career. One of the greatest spearheads the game has ever seen and we're all better for having seen him play.- Have we officially found our full forward?
Absolutely spot on. His ability to read the ball in flight and position himself is better than any forward on our list and close to best on our list in general. On top of that his strength is underrated and he doesn't get bodied off it or out of position as much as some others we've tried there. His kicking for goal like JVR is of someone who doesn't overcomplicate things and kicks through the ball naturally. The hope is that they don't start introducing little aspects to their routine that can stuff it all up. I get vibes of T-mac half way through 2017 when he went forward. We all know Grimes' MO but with Petty marking everything that came his way you have no choice but to defend 1v1. A great game against quality opposition and as much as I dearly wanted to give Gawn 6 votes I gave Petty the nod for this reason, 10 marks with 7 inside 50 and 4 contested, it's very darn impressive.- What They Are Saying at Punt Road
Yeah true but ah well, they can spend their time thinking about about how to deal with friends giving them stick about the finals win drought for another year.- POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs Richmond

Oh boy they don't make cups big enough to drink all these up!- Ben Brown/Kelvin Templeton.
Both had their knees shot out as well! Totally agree though a pleasure to have both at our club. Great post Monbon!- PREGAME: Rd 21 vs North Melbourne
I'm more along the lines of managing ruck minutes for Max rather than resting entirely. Possibly mid minutes for Viney as well. If we must go the resting route then it's probably 1-2 players max but I'm not super keen. I do think you can flirt with form and the mix too much and that would be dumb but I do see the side where some of these guys could use a little chop out. All in all I lean towards letting it ride and managing minutes in game as much as possible.- PREGAME: Rd 21 vs North Melbourne

Realistically how far off is AMW from getting a game? Any chance before the year is out? There's an intent about this guy that I really like.- VOTES: Rd 20 vs Richmond
