In the last couple of years I've revisited this old hobby that was dormant for too long. Lately I've been heading down Point Cook, Shoreham way for some pretty gentle waves. Keen to hear from any other Keen surfers on good spots or even some board advice. Currently using an 8 foot foamy.

I'd go one further and say that after we stop their last effort to make the 8 that they don't make it again for years. Kids that were too young to remember last year's flag end up deep in life wondering if they will ever make the 8. Enter the darkness.

You have to take any small wins in life that come your way.
