I'm already sick of hearing the fluff about Carlton's chances. They need a 2019 Melb season now.

    Kick by INXS for sure.
  7. Been watching a lot of Tholstrup in the last few days. This kid is a score involvement machine and can really Roost a footy.

Mr Brightside, The Killers, they're from Las Vegas so therefore I may pick the Raiders this week. Some classic Triple M dovetailing right there..

Are they really going to call it Round Zero? The AFL needs to start acting their age.

They should be sorry, it's extremely inconsiderate of them. But honestly it does put your life out if you are faffing around with public transport at near midnight and have an early start the next day. Not everyone's footy going days/nights are created equal like yours. As for having a few months notice, when has anyone ever planned ahead for a cold winter night that might deter them from going that day, the funds they will have available or the cruddy feeling of taking an hour to get home from the MCG late on a Thurs night? By that logic if you're going out for dinner in a few months you should have a much better chance of knowing what you're going to order because you have plenty of notice.

Really missed Maddison and Van de ven, important to the structure. Villa in two weeks then City, will be interesting to see if they can bounce back.

Gee it's a hard tipping comp this year.

Been a fan most of the year. Would be slightly disappointed if we didn't end up with either him or Mckercher but that looks likely.
  22. I never liked it either, it ranks alongside the argument that you need to be big in stature to be a captain.
  23. He’s right up there. The thing I love about Neita’s story is the leader that he became in his time as skipper. Plenty of off-field turmoil as you mentioned, the Crown incident and the age-old argument that you ‘cannot captain a team from full forward’ to contend with but I believe his leadership improved each year. They all walked taller with Neitz as captain. Garry was the best natural leader we had in my time. Connected so well with others and well respected in the league captaining Victoria one year.

    We'll make it.
