  1. Good Stuff High Standards from day 1 This feels like a new beginning, that was my first impression. High Standards is the key
  2. Yes i agree the 2005-2006 GF’s were exciting, i was at the 2006 and the tension in the last 10 minutes i still remember. But i was also at the 1989 and 1972 GF’s which were both high scoring shoot outs. I like seeing goals kicked (The 8 goal 3rd Quarter to break a game after a close first half) I remember those games. I don’t remember a 5 goal Ross Lyon style game of defensive Lockdown
  3. He will be a talent. Yes we have to guide and push him to extract that talent. But if we don’t or can’t, he will leave. We should know the answer in 2 years
  4. We recruited a Young Talent from Interstate We have to make him want to stay... It’s a Business
  5. It is now up to the MFC to win Finals, to give LJ a reason to stay longer. it’s a business
  6. Too many times we see Teams have kicked 3 goals to 3/4 time, in fine weather conditions I turn it off and i would never have done that years ago...
  7. Agree WWSW but the game was huge during those decades. Today’s Football is almost boring
  8. You don’t like freer flowing football, with Higher Scoring TU? The 100 Goal Kicking Forward was such a huge part of the game going back when i was growing up i say that not just in nostalgia. The anticipation of an upcoming Full Forward shoot out was fantastic, 3-4 players fighting for the Coleman Now i have no immediate interest in who is leading the Goalkicking, it doesn’t matter... It is a huge hole in the modern game
  9. He just didn’t have quick reactions All the best Oscar and thanks for 81 games 81 more than me
  10. Yep that’s the vision i was watching. TMac could not do that excercise repeatedly if he had ankle and foot injuries
  11. It all worked fine until Sheedy wanted to rotate off the Bench.... That is when congestion started...
  12. But they knew his situation before he was resigned. The risk was easily identified Buyer Beware
  13. Buckley is just waffling on SALARY CAP Mismanagement a Disgrace Tell it like it is
  14. Will be worth a lot of money!!
  15. “Hello, I’m Mr. Ed...”
  16. Teams will drop out, they always do every year. A bolter will emerge from nowhere, they always do. The MFC should be aiming for a Top 4 spot now that we have a serious key forward
  17. We the MFC must aim for Top 4. The contenders around us can sort out their own situations
  18. Hard Rubbish Collection Sleep ? well Edward
  19. Nice ? work QD Very Cutting... Eddie must be rapt he quit his radio ? job this week!!
  20. Buckley is the one making Statements He would be well aware of the situation from a long way back... Players cost money and if you put them on a contract that is signed, that contract should be honoured There was no way they could ever pay all those contracts, and to then lie about it is disgusting ?
  21. I was listening to SEN when Edmunds made the statement on air. He was absolutely rock solid, saying he had cross checked all his sources again and again. That’s when I knew the Filth were in serious trouble. I cannot believe that Today, Buckley has not said “We had to cut players for Salary cap reasons, i apologize on behalf of the Filth, to Players and Members” At least be honest. Their Behavior today is disgusting, they are almost blaming the players. F$&@ that Your List Management stinks...
  22. The MFC will get Memberships with Statements like that. Back yourself Ben. Room to move on the MCG 3-5 goals a game....
