Reading her article today..."Demetriou did concede that the AFL contributed unwittingly to the club's off field behavior with the introduction of the priority pick for clubs failing to win more than 4 games in a season." That makes me sick. The AFL should take 100% responsibility towards the tanking that went on since 1999. 7 clubs. And some people on here think we got off lightly. The other 6 sure did.

Jury is definately out on Tapscott. But he can kick a ball, so i hope he comes up with the right stuff.. But to many injuries for mine so far, i wonder if his body is up for it.. His hip & shoulder of Rhys Shaw is his one highlight thus far.. It is a good one so i do hope he makes it....

We need a few guys like ex Wallaby Captain John Eels who off the field is an absolute gentleman. But once on the field he was a true Legend with mongrel to burn. He often punted truly after the bell to win games!!

Looks like i missed very little. How sad that such a great show from the week before now "no longer exists" Winning games is the only answer for this club. Obvious i know. But any other issue is superfluous for survival right now. The fact we were shafted is not newsworthy.

I understand all that CB, but the fact is the kid is ready for a serious taste....if they AFL was smart the should allow an every case on it's merits. If he was still 17 i would have no problem with it, but he is now legally an adult...Round 1 is still a month away.

Ok..learnt that one today....still doesn't explain why an 18 year old is denied senior experience when he is actually an adult at the commencement of Round 1. Maybe he and CC can nut out the AFL's rules this year at Casey...both will be a little bemused i am sure.

W.A do not study year 12...? That explains a lot..Perth is a strange place!!

Never said it was...But if Jessie has completed year 12 & is 18 BEFORE Round 1 he should be eligable to play. If he isn't the rule is very poor. But there are many poor rules within the AFL...we all know that.

Has Jessie completed his schooling?
