Welcome to the 'dark side' Jarka..... The force is strong in you.

Correct. Can we afford that?

The next person to suggest Davey should be traded...

Dees most likely destination for big Eagle

Nudge putting out Seaby for pick 35.......................priceless -
If they are fishing for Didak, its a good move on their part. They'd certainly have the filth's attention. Thompson wants to go, so that is a good option you've thrown up deanox. I'd take it, just don't know if Port would.

Just throwing ideas in reply to your post Roulette in relation to Frawley. We are all wondering why Warnock finished so high in the B&F....................just speculating.

Oh..cheers WJ. Interesting.

Oh. I've had negative things to say about Bruce in the past regarding his poor execution regardless of his accumulation of possessions - which may weigh heavily in the Best & Fairest count, and has been well documented in various threads, yet I haven't been pulled up as such. So please anyone who feels aggravated about my negative comments on Bruce, speak now or forever hold your peace...

200.9cm. By Christmas he could be 201cm. edit: Watts, Hill, Blease & Hannebury results look good overall. Did Zaharakis attend camp?

Untouchable, what on earth, how is that so Jaded?

RR when Bailey was asked would he trade fringe players for more draft picks, Bailey said: "I think it would be fair to say that where we can improve our picks or get extra picks, we'll be going down that path. Link: http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/sport/afl...3-19742,00.html

Roulette, I didn't say you did. I understand your point. I commented on that I thought Corey deserved it - that was my point, where as many have questionned whether Bruce should have won (which is understandable). edit: fwiw I think Ablett would have won had he not been injured and played another 5 games IMO. Corey finished on 591 to Ablett's 538 votes. Just on stats. Corey (avg 27 votes a game); Ablett (avg 31 votes a game). Still, it would of been closer all the same.

I think Carlton threw in Pick 20 as well.
-
Some people under estimate other clubs thoughts on players such as Daniel Bell. Perhaps a Nathan Jones and Pick 35. And if its not pick 35, it might take Pick 19 to do it. edit: Knockers/critics can put forward suggestions anytime...

Good to see we are close to signing regarding Casey Fields, he mentioned this at last nights B&F too. No Blueprint plan yet. He hints that they're no afraid to make tough decisions to get where they want to go to. I wonder if they can make a tough decision on Port Adelaide's Pick No.4 that has been placed on the table. It's possible.

The draft runs deep wiseblood. Not like previous drafts.
-
We're on the same wavelength BB. If Port Adeliade are prepared to put Pick 4 on the table, and this draft runs deep, mousey is right we should seriously look at getting pick 4. A Naitanui or Vickery could be available at pick 4. Therefore a class ruckman/forward which is also what the club needs and could solve our problem in the ruck, esp. now that Warnock looks to be going to Carlton.

2pm?

Broady....how unfortunate. He actually left the team a big hole in terms of structure. He could match up on the Hirds of this football world, and was a decent KPP for us in the making. Sadly missed.

Davey is not the 'only marketable player' at melbourne at present. Massively deep this year (the draft), been described at the camp that the 32 best draftees are all worthy of top 16 selections. If you had picks 1,4,17,19 or 1,17,19,22 or even 1,4,17,19 and 22 (far fetched I know), surely you would get enough marketing in return , if not more. You wouldn't tear the club apart, we survived Woey and TJ's departures. Tough decisions need to be made otherwise we will tread water...again. The Hawks made tough and ruthless decisions a few years back. With the list we have now we're in a similar position but not the same position. We need to "tweak" during trade period to come up with the best picks going forward into the draft, this draft. And top up again next years draft. I am sick of fellow Dee supporters not wanting change for our club. Those who want to go with the status quo, that don't want to tinker at the risk of "tearing the club apart". If that is the case they may as well shut the doors for success.

Maybe. But I think we will sign him up again shortly. Having come 3rd and winning leadership award. A/ Would Nathan Jones and pick 67 get pick 22? B/ Or Aaron Davey and pick 35 for pick 4? Just putting it out there guys... Put yourself in Mark Williams position. edit: Maybe just Nathan Jones (minus pick 67) The attraction:- A/ Picks 1,17,19,22,35,51 B/ Picks 1,4,17,19,51,67 Or both deals! :D 1,4,17,19,22,51

Nothing wrong with digging up ancient posts, if you have something on your mind Dappa. Good point regarding the depth in relation to the picks. It's been widely tipped and discussed that the top 32 players are all worthy of top 16 selections.

Got to love the way Mark Williams operates, throws the rod out with the bait, and waits to see what comes to him. Gives all clubs a chance over the weekend to see what they can do in terms of getting either picks 4 and 22. What can Melbourne offer? Well some are suggesting or alluding to on forums in light of last night's B&F players such as Nathan Jones, Aaron Davey and Daniel Bell. Others are top 3 place getters Bruce and Green. As we know, Green still has not signed. There is interest in Daniel Bell. With 72 hours to go until the bell rings for the start of trade week, the Demon heirarchy will no doubt be rolling up their sleeves and be looking at all options.

I voted always around the pack type midfielder. I believe he has the nous required in heavy traffic as well as to run with the ball through the centre as well as the wings.
