Fwiw, we will not be 'finished' if it doesn't work out the way most want it, we'll probably be just another side that falls short, again. However, what we won't have is - arguably - a stronger list. To be a contender for a Premiership down the track you need a strong list with quality players. If there is 5 or more wins we miss the opportunity to gain 2 of the best available for the draft. We would therefore miss that advantage over other sides.
And by doing that, with the Gold Coast and West Sydney on the horizon, there might not be a better chance to drink at the well (draft time) of young talent for sometime, than right now.
