Overlooked that....how did I do that... Firms as a must have for mine at the Demons. Given the indecision of Boak staying at Port. But still, I have Caddy>Boak.

Wondering if Essendon would be prepared to part with their first round draft pick for Caddy ? They're currently 8th with a tough run home. That's pick 11 and if they drop further it could be as low as pick 9 or even 8. If we were interested in him our mid first round compo pick would be more favoured to be used I would think and it would comeback to a player in return. What would GC be after ? Probably the higher pick.

Much like a game of chess in preparation. Sheedy said a while back "Melbourne won't want to dance with us."

Could be a two week injury the quad.

I hope Paul Roos doesn't almost fall off the couch at the thought of another Cup. Or in this case the Whitfield Shield game between GWS v GC. Because Paul Roos frowns at nurturing a "losing culture mentality"....

    Starting this week old dee.

Ugh Bananas ! I think that is an adequate ban old dee. I'm going to Etihad to support the boys too, I'm sure some here would view that as enough punishment for mentioning his name in this thread. We apologise Redleg !

I'm thinking more the latter. The size of the contract by GWS to Scully thanks to our clubs tabled offer tipped the compo scales in our favour.

At the moment they would be absolutely livid. Just ask Mark Stevens (Hun/Dog supporter) - he hasn't stopped writing about it - like a dog with a bone ! (snigger) ! He will keep on it at draft time, and forever more through Ward's career at a guess.

    - Google Side effects:Too much of it (particularly through parts of Asia) causes those consuming it to spiral out of control with rash statements about club lists, recruiting and wanting answers already given ! kidding

If all that was to come to fruition we'd burst through 40,000 members before easter. < Thinking to self, "shite, it's round 18 and just have a listen to me - what a muppet !"

I was of the opinion of Caddy > Boak in terms of priority. I'm a bigger fan...

Federer may have just made it near impossible for Nadal to catch him having stretched it to 17.

Yeah, well done Macca and good thread. You tipped it IRW and we'll do it all again next year. I'll tip Froome from 12 months out !

They're just trying to get their heads on tv most of them. Think it was stage 9, there were 3 male spectators on each side of the road during the time trial with their dacks down mooning the approaching cyclist. Obviously had a skin full waiting to bear their nether region to the world. Agree on Voeckler. Imaging if he'd been ok in the first week ! Last year he was dominant in the first week or so. Last night he attacked and attacked and made the stage very interesting to watch. Got to admire him, he blitzed them. he looks exhausted on occassions and then all of the sudden, bang he's gone. I reckon he foxes with who he is riding with. Does it very well. Cunning. That was the last nail. Nibali doesn't stand a chance either. When you've got class like Wiggins and Froome and riding to instruction. dare say it's bloody hard to make a move. Evans seems to be struggling and his preparation prior wasn't what he'd like. He's the oldest le Tour victor since World War II and should be proud of his achievement last year, this year he's been up against a very strong team. Honestly, Wiggins is Ice Man, he barely shows any pain and remains calm throughout.

Haha. How Lee got roped into singing in India is one of the more bizarre things coming from a cricketer. But I suppose you only need 0.01% interest in India and you've got yourself a fan base....

Echo these sentiments. On a lighter note, not many excel in Bollywood. Binga is right up there with Tania Zaetta.

Good title for a thread Redleg for the off season, "Now or Never"

I will be too, following your first point.

Correct IMO. Buy some breathing space. Otherwise we may see a GC or GWS game I don't want to see.

No, it's just not you. I want the feeling of enthusiasm back....the spring in the step. It won't happen whilst the cue is in the rack.

I don't know exactly what took place through negotiations etc, but I gather there's much to do with MFC's list management and Bruce's true market value at the time being the sticking points. Had he signed on reasonable circumstances, he'd have chalked up 250 games as a one club player. Not to be. That said, he was a good servant and representative of the MFC during his time at Melbourne.

Lol. Hit the pillow with 40km to go and missed the tacks debacle. Nice to read what Wiggins instructed to his Sky teammates and wait for the reigning champion.
  24. H_T replied to dee-luded's post in a topic in Other Sports
Did anyone notice Wiggins' bike before the start of the time trial ? It differed from the standard IMO, obviously been passed by Tour organisers, but I can't help but think there was some sort of advantage in it.

Has anyone seen Wiggins get out of his seat on the climb ? The bloke doesn't raise a sweat. Cool, calculated, he doesn't leave Cadels wheel. Where's this guy been ? I reckon if Voeckler goes early tonight like last night, Cadel and some BMC riders should go with him. Try and break free from Sky.
