If we were interested in him our mid first round compo pick would be more favoured to be used I would think and it would comeback to a player in return. What would GC be after ? I don't know exactly what took place through negotiations etc, but I gather there's much to do with MFC's list management and Bruce's true market value at the time being the sticking points. Had he signed on reasonable circumstances, he'd have chalked up 250 games as a one club player. Not to be.
