Tennis Anyone?
Through to the 2nd round I heard early this morning. C'mon Sammy.

Anyone for cricket?
The only thing I can think of that won him a contract is the uncertainty of injuries to our key young bowlers.....depth. He's a lucky boy.

The 3 week tour is a whole other tour IMO, where teams build up and plan for it. Big teams such as BMC will work together to pull back any breakaways. He may well be a smokey, but he'll have to reproduce again and again under the toughest of conditions to conquer.

What is worth mentioning too is Cadel's BMC team this year is definitely stronger than last year's.

How was Nalbandian's tantrum effort ? What a goose. Caused a leg injury to a linesman.

Interesting. In a bit of pain I read. Frank Schleck is the other rival to consider. But if Evans gets anywhere near last years form, definite threat to defending his title. The time trials are to his advantage. Just has to stay up on the bike IMO.

That's him. Bit more experienced now. Did ok on some of the climbs, but eventually succumbed to the elite late in stages.

What was that guys name last year who carried the yellow jersey for quite a few days ? He did ok in the mountains and won a couple of stages. Not Sanchez. I think he was French ?? He looked ok before losing ground in the latter stages. Could be a candidate..

The No T$ No B$ Thread
How about we extend the olive branch WJ, and instead of closing it, move it to general discussion, where it can continue on its merry way. It fits under 'general discussion' after all, given the nature of its content. And if Redleg wants it re-named or have the T$ taken out, we can make do ?? Si ?

On the money there cards13. I have a mate who knows Cadel well enough down at Barwon Heads who says his preparation has been interrupted. Compared to last years prep it has been pretty average (not what he'd like). You're right about his health. Positives are that he has been able to compete in the last few events. No Andy will make it interesting.

Well. One could argue it is after all about something. In this thread we can identify the fluctuations on banana prices and keep a good track record of Redleg's track runners. Oh and there's a countdown clock somewhere showing the time to this years National Draft...importance personified. Other than that, yeah it's tracking a la Seinfeld. But in this case there's no B$ ! Apparently.

Mark Neeld's Spray on Morton.
My point that I made to jaded is that Neeld could very well have subbed Morton off for Dunn had it not been for Green and his groin. Yes, Green's days are coming to a close.

Mark Neeld's Spray on Morton.
Agree with the sentiments but I'll add that Green was subbed off for Dunn at three quarter time with a groin. Neeld had no option but to sub Green off.

Sammy Stosur through to the French Open Semi-Finals at Roland Garros. Her favourite surface, and looks the goods again there, this year. Playing confidently with a good kick serve troubling her opponents.
