  1. I've been listening to trade radio for years for days like today. Dees must take advantage and nail these picks though OD. But great result.
  2. Now that we have 3 and 10 - maybe 3 & 7 if reports come to fruition - the Trading Board will be very busy until the Draft. This maybe a safe haven as usual.
  3. Yep, don't like Happy Trails drawing (13) in the car park.
  4. And there may be a chance we get around that pick back if a bundle for Bugg nets 26/27...which would be a pretty solid trade period performance.
  5. No matter what the FD do, there will always be a few posters here not happy. Already there's several questioning why they used next years 1st rounder in the deal, and asking how they can get Prestia.
  6. Well a bit happening today. Melbourne went BANG! Good to see the recruiters, deal brokers earning their buck and obtaining trades as well as improving draft position. Today probably put the Dees as the most active out of the 18 clubs, equal with Pies and Cats.
  7. Maybe I like this horse a little too much this time of year. But Happy Trails is always thereabouts in Cox Plate and is now back in form again at the right time. Value.
  8. Watched their first few games OD, they have some quality players, but I agree it's not the same as the Tigers. And they're vanilla in terms of brand. If the Dees folded, I doubt whether I would be a keen observer tbh. I definitely wouldn't follow any other team and I'd probably be on the lookout for some kind of interest - but nothing would come as close as the passion for the Dees. At least you had Mongolian Khan Biff. Fame Game for the Melb Cup, Biffen. Always throw in Red Cadeaux too. Value. Been thriving since arriving at Werribee and only knows how to run the 3200m. Fame Game Trip to Paris Red Cadeaux Mongolian Khan
  9. Cheers. Plenty of countdowns on this thread. Just thought I'd re-visit the first several pages of this thread. Below is the post that started the banana talk. Much better prices nowadays. Think making a smoothie now will kill some trade time and satisfy the tastebuds: -
  10. Hoping for a miracle, an ice breaker, a 3rd party, .... something.. Off topic..... Any 'Back to The Future' watchers and/or history buffs? Chicago Cubs - 107 yrs since having won the world series. In the movie, one of the characters got hold of a Sports Almanac, went back to the past and loaded up on the Cubs when it got to 2015 - knowing that they'd won as a 200-1 shot. In real life now - 2015 - the Cubs have now made their divisional final and aren't all that far from the World Series. Thought I'd share. You can all have that 1 minute back now.......#tradeweekboredom
  11. Phew! 38
  12. If there was none of that, it wouldn't amount to the amusement.
  13. Amused by some and their change in original stance now that Melksham will be wearing red & blue. Predictable.
  14. It will be from Nth in return for Anderson. I think there's other pick(s) involved...
  15. It's a good thing it goes for 2 weeks. Imagine if it had gone to late next week; thankfully the club has your health to consider.
  16. Nice to see Barrett keeps tabs on Demonland.... I feel dirty now...
  17. It's not massively overs for Melksham (pick 25), perhaps the Dees know what they're getting coming the other way and/or a late pick coming back. I think many should wait and see what happens. Face value atm it does look a little overs, but let's see the final outcome.
  18. Have heard him many times, always 'all over the shop' in his questions and you can sense the hosts sinking in their chairs as they look to their producers - asking why on earth they put the call through.
  19. Amazed at the hysteria in this thread. Veil of negativity. And I'll take CIP's mail over Sam McClure's.
  20. Define regular. He played 18 this season.
  21. More like: - M: "I want out basically, frankly it's an endless joke, you haven't looked after our best interests, it's a revolving door here as far as coaches go, I don't want to be a part of this club, I need a fresh start, my footy and health has suffered, my family... - I love footy and like some others, I'm not enjoying it here" E: "Ok, well here's a 2 year contract that we think is fair and reasonable, we think 2016 will be exciting and we look to improve and get to finals, we hope that you'll stay and remain a one club player, but you're welcome to look elsewhere at offers, if that's the way you feel. As you are entitled to. But we 'd like you to sign with us. We think we have Woosha as coach...what do you think?" M: "The chemist {sigh}....lol?"
  22. Has Essendon said that? Haven't they already offered him a contract?
