Tom McDonald?
Goodness gracious...the comments! AA contention this year. Nearly won B&F last year didn't he? Blue chip defender, credit to his hard work and the will to better himself each outing.

Hardwick said it himself. They didn't come to play, and I'd include Rance in Hardwick's labelling of his team - insipid. They are indeed better than that. Rance is better that that. And you're kidding yourself if you disagree. Kudos to Jesse though on his game, he made his presence count on the night, on a big stage. Impressive. Now here comes the big tests. I'm hoping he excels.

Tough luck re: Faulkner. Great finishing record with the bat. Looks as though Clarke will be back to take the helm. Whilst Bailey hasn't got a great batting record of late in his last several knocks (short knocks). Thoughts ? My thoughts are if he is fit to go, he plays - despite his absence in the ODI arena. Not a bad Summer to date result wise with the exception of the sad loss to Phillip Hughes. NZ have got a terrific record at home, almost a monty for the Semi's one would suggest.

Caught glimpses of it. Didn't make much of an impact on me.

Well, at least the latter part of that comment was right.

Yeah, I see a lot of Hodge in him, good call. Over the moon having Tyson in the red & blue.

Yep. Sometimes a bit untidy with his disposal. He appears to have a few strings to his bow including nous/smarts - hopefully just a progression in his development. Certainly his hardness in the clinches and reactiveness at stoppages is a huge plus in his overall game.
