WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JESSE HOGAN
daisycutter replied to Little Richard's topic in Melbourne Demons
WB pick 5+6 is just ridiculous overs in a super draft and with the dogs' stocks so low with the need to do something in 2013 not 2014 3+13 is also too much unless it's the pre-determined price for viney (wonder what GCS's price is?) -

Wellingham/Dawes super trade (scuppered)
daisycutter replied to bush demon's topic in Melbourne Demons
there's no obligation to, it's a forum -
they seem to be missing the 1921-2011 figures
-
project player (struggling, needs more time and weight) ready-to-play type (a footballer and not an ex-basketballer or athlete)
-
does that mean you want to go back to 19th and 20th man before they changed the rules?
-
what speed is there in having a continuous slow moving rugby style maul with 3/4 of each team within 30m of the ball i'll grant you the intensity but it's all wasted on the maul and trying to stay within 30m of the ball

Wellingham/Dawes super trade (scuppered)

i hope Neeld's not getting too Collingwood focussed just because he spent time there. There's a bigger pond out there and we must make good use of our valuable picks. -
Wellingham/Dawes super trade (scuppered)

I can't believe such a poor piece of journalism deserves a thread of its own. Dawes patently is not worth a first round pick and the Dawes/Wellingham combo is definitely not worth a pick 4 people are playing up the "no-one wants to go to Melbourne" angle in the hope they can rip-off off a vulnerable Melbourne. We'd better not fall for this cheap tripe and give up our crown jewels for sows' ears. -
at least lawsy would proffer an opinion blueye. couldn't you find a good pic of jonesy?

possible (but complicated) redleg i'd expect Crows to play hard-ball especially as they were expecting a very good deal from Suns and so much for Kurt loving playing for the crows and just wanting to go home and missing family million dollar deals don't grow on trees and the lure must be great i'd expect a few swans premiership players who had put in the hard yards might have their noses out of joint with all the (possible) bonuses evaporating

The AFL Media Centre's objective is simply to be numero uno of Australian Rules media The AFL give them fairly free rein (at the moment) to virtually pursue any story they like You will have noticed they even print stories critical of the AFL When they do take over the world then the AFL may do some micro managing to their advantage politically I thought you were in the media and understood what is going on with the AFL media Centre
-
you should know by now that the AFL and the "AFL Media Centre" are quite different animals with different agendas
-
but he can't nominate officially. he has just declared his intention, nothing official or afl related in that again, what is your issue and have i missed something
-
what are you talking about wyl? there is nothing different about the process tippett will have to take to get to the swans the afl can't and haven't changed any rules for tippett the only advantage swans may have is they have a higher salary cap than most (but not all) clubs swans will have to do an acceptable deal with crows if they can't/won't and tippett digs in then he goes into ND just like Ball did where swans first pick is a long way down the list have i missed some thing where the afl can intervene on behalf od swans?

I thought only FAs could officially request a trade to the AFL Normal trades i thought were a club-club issue and during the trade period if player ooc and clubs/player can't agree then [player can go into the draft -

Swans extra $1,000,000 Salary Cap
daisycutter replied to Sir Why You Little's topic in Melbourne Demons
If Tassie comes in does that mean they will only have a $5M salary cap? -
