Agree with HT about the kicking. Also he had a tendency to drop too many marks. On sunday I didn't see him fumble any marks. If he continues to hold his marks and improve his kicking that alone will make him dangerous. Add his speed and manoeuvrability we could have a future star I should add that when he connects he has a thumping kick Watched him a lot at training, he really puts in and given all his health/injury problems he deserves to suceed

All good points deemon and well explained I might also point out that the WADA website has a pdf document titled "The World Anti-Doping Code THE 2013 PROHIBITED LIST INTERNATIONAL STANDARD" (The 2012 document is also there) It is only 8 pages and quite easy to read It goes through the banned classes from S0 - S9 and M1 - M3 (S=Substances and M=Methods) I would expect all professional athlete coming under WADA regulations would have at least a copy of this document and to have read it Note the first class defined is S0 (hard to miss) "Any pharmacological substance which is not addressed by any of the subsequent sections of the List and with no current approval by any governmental regulatory health authority for human therapeutic use (e.g drugs under pre-clinical or clinical development or discontinued, designer drugs, substances approved only for veterinary use) is prohibited at all times" I would encourage you all to read this doc. It won't take long and is surprisingly clear and concise I wish a few journos would read it too.

thanks for the link i think a lot of confusion come from the term "prohibited list" there is an explicit prohibited list which actually names performance drugs in a list and then there is an implicit prohibited list (called code S0) which is a blanket cover for all new drugs not approved for human list the quoted article is true as far as the explicit prohibited list, but fails to mention anything about the drugs status under the implicit list S0 clear as mud right? of course the ACC is not the deciding body here, but such statements from a law authority are only going to aid essendon's defence

wrong. wada/asada don't hand out the penalties. they make a finding and the afl (having signed up to the wada protocol) deliver the actual penalties however it would be unlikely that the afl would not use wada recommended penalties if rumours are true essendon would then take out an injunction and its off to court (for maybe another 12 months)
