  1. and for all those sheilas planning to rush to romsey, don't bother, it has melted
  2. and now you have a three-peat. congrats, outstanding work (and all achieved without stuie's contributions)
  3. in an ideal world we could just use 'landers 🤣
  4. you should hear what he says about borewood, ☹️ cuts me to the quick
  5. i just couldn't bear to think of anyone (uncle included) freezing away in far flung romsey and knowing what a compassionate woman you are
  6. maybe wcw could knit you some appropriate warmers? just thinking aloud
  7. i always knew your crystal balls were reliable, uncle 🤣
  8. from a sentimental pov i really like it and hope it's a success from a practical and skeptical pov it looks like it could end up another giants, suns millstone for a number of reasons
  9. whoops, thanks dazzle, fixed and apologies to duxy i'll leave by the door now
  10. tassy is never going to accept anything other than a genuine tassy based team np sharing, no relocating a 20th team solves the bye issue but trying to start two new teams at the same time would be so disruptive requiring 90 new players and massive concessions affecting existing teams. expect them to go 1 team at a time
  11. reckon duxy would make a formidable inside mid. what's his handball skills like?
  12. here's one way byes could be handled first 19 rounds each team has a bye assuming 23 rounds that leaves 4 more rounds with a bye bottom 4 each have a bye over rounds 20 - 23 after round 23 the finalists each have a bye but the bottom 4 plays their round 23 game (i.e. 2 games) so 24 weeks and every team has played 23 games comments? p.s. or alternatively week 24 the bottom 4 teams play their round 23 concurrently with the first week of the finals.
  13. what did my expert eyes say in a previous post? spooky, huh?
  14. so, are passe "normal" handballs now to called "above ground handballs"? asking for a friend
  15. and the ump doesn't insist the player with the ball goes back on the line properly the line is a line from middle of goals through the mark extending back to player with ball this is most noticeable when the mark is set on the wings or flanks. the player with ball invariably is way off the line, closer to the corridor than the line, often by 10m or more
