  1. well that is one way to express it, albeit a very negative way far more constructive to say "assisting via their organisation's support in the survival of the AFL competition."
  2. well i'll be buttered on both sides good catch, chelly
  3. please don't let a thread about a hutchy pathetic clickbait comment reach a third page..........enough already
  4. atm there are probably 5 players with an existing contract past year-end who would consider themselves very lucky if they are exempt from pruning. agree this not very sensible and they might develop an exit mechanism, but it will be messy whichever way it goes.
  5. yes, i wondered about that possibility. even if not over the revised salary they may be with min payment requirements to pay those re-contracted out of the remaining players to make up the new list numbers i think one way or the other (voluntary or not) existing contracts will be renegotiated within certain guidelines.
  6. here's luci's list - so 22 contracted beyond 2020
  7. ok, gotcha, muonie
  8. sienfeld also said "if you want to be a life-long loser join demonland"
  9. maybe he means the proximal end of his extremities?
  10. not a stupid idea, moonie you also left out aflw requirements. these could stay at casey and they could occasionally use gosch's and vice versa the afl side. gosch's would require some community benefit facilities to attract funding, if others can manage this i don't see why we couldn't. gosch's would also need some decision on soccer/nrl. can't see all 3 staying harmoniously. at least one would need to leave.
  11. but don't forget kayo (still) doesn't support many streaming boxes and smart tvs. kayo need to lift their game so do your homework before buying a streaming box
  12. an apt description
  13. lol, brunswick to city in peak is more than half an hour
  14. well for one thing it doesn't have the management/administrative facilities that we have at both the mcg and aami centre but it certainly would be good wind training for games in tassie
  15. yes, maybe. in my case would need a very long hdmi cable (and an hdmi adapter on pc end)
  16. you don't need anything extra if you use your pc, plus get kayo free for 4 week trial (still available?)
  17. get kayo and watch on your desktop/portable pc monitor
  18. for a vfl club, yes
  19. sounds pretty reasonable to me, moonie
  20. most management by committee does how did kevin07's 2020 summit go? iirc kevin rejected 133 out of 135 proposals with hardly a murmur from the 4th estate
  21. well lots of other clubs have managed to incorporate this, i don't see why we can't. besides it's a good and worthwhile thing to do.
