Strange as it may seem, that’s the first time this season when Casey has been in the position where it isn’t losing any players as carry over emergencies meaning that no players are forced to have their seasons disrupted by a week off, a situation which is already aggravated by the number of byes in the fixture. The disadvantage in losing a couple of AFL listed players can be crucial and it’s worth noting that Casey have lost a couple of close games this year. Casey doesn’t even have that advantage over the opposition because Carlton are in the same boat as us this weekend. We should win anyway but it would be good if the draw worked to our advantage for once.

Just as the team turned up to play late on Saturday, it might be worth reminding everyone that today is 30th June, not 29th June as per the thread title.

News of McAdam’s retirement was a bit like the news that Uncle Roy is Cat B eligible or that Mark Twain had died when he had not - all greatly exaggerated!

Why not a panel consisting of Robbo, Purple, Tom Morris and Jay Clark. They know exactly what’s going on at the club.

After the post injury interview emerged, it was interesting to see how some commentators who said the club ignored Tracc after KB embarrassingly tried to backtrack on these claims. Same with some of the posters on here.

If they’re not your ideal trade then they are not worth pursuing. Better to find a young recruit and try to develop his talent.

I also turned it off because I’d had enough and thought it was over. Woke up and discovered the Crows made a comeback. Nice start to the weekend. Now, for us and the Swans to get up and make it even better.

Last week, I raised uncle Roy George who impressed in his one game for Casey earlier in the season and was surprised when his name came up as an emergency for the game. Here’s hoping that we see him weaving his magic in Casey colours again before the end of the season.

The place where they should be holding a crisis meeting in the Adelaide Football Club. They were putrid after quarter time and it looks like they’ve lost both Milera and Murphy to knee injuries, Walker looks unfit and Pedlar who they had high hopes for, was very disappointing. There’s something very wrong out there and I suggest [censored] from the Sun should send out his best attack dogs this week to suss out their culture.
