With all of the comings and goings in the football world, I would really like to hear a player of substance come out and say that Melbourne’s the club of his choice.
-
Where was this against Sydney and Fremantle?
-
Lucky we don’t have to win this by 50 points.

North Melbourne are in for a world of pain. Next year’s Adelaide.

Watts is coming back from injury and will struggle to get a game at Port Adelaide Tyson is injured and will have his work cut out staying on their list. After coming back from a knee, Dunn played a couple of games for the Pies (including v us) but is out of the side. Will probably retire at the end of the year. Does that answer your question?

I didn’t have the volume on so I stand to be corrected. Did I see #34 for MFC on the ground and if, so is that Marty Hore?

Yes - gave up the footy for cricket and also had a few injuries. Watson passed away a few months ago.

Time to bring Harley Bennell in for another appearance in the next set of two games.

The likelihood with the new draw coming out is that we will have to be flexible with our team selection and not wear our players out. Therefore, if we make a couple of changes here and there it won’t be a complete disaster. -
We still have to beat those teams and not stumble. If we achieve that then I think the key games will be Western Bulldogs, Essendon and St Kilda. Win 2 out of 3 of these and beat one or more of Collingwood, Port Adelaide, Brisbane and GWS then we get to make finals. Of course, this is getting ahead of ourselves because we have to not only beat the opposition but the competition needs to beat the virus.

We’d sing and dance forever and a day.

That would be a two and a half hour bus drive to Metricon, would it not?

Say whatever you want about our man Dan but he’s not only leading the tipsters, he also picked 11 winners last week from just 9 games.

Seems to me that there might be an issue with player fitness after the long lockdown.

He’s going to Carlton next year. -
That’s right. A result of a 4 game suspension thanks to a magnificent acting performance from Richmond’s Roger Dean.

Generally, I agree with your sentiments about Jesse’s recovery and also in general about not shooting the messengers. However, it should be known that the messengers in this instance are well know for flinging about questionable scuttlebutt and their message about Jesse doesn’t deserve to be given much credibility if at all.

The big bloke. What’s his name? Maxy!

I’m looking forward to the return to Gosch’s Paddock and the resumption of regular training reports (tomorrow?)
