Spargo starting well, great link up work.
-
We competitive and looking for runners...positive start.
-
Here we go!!
-
Dew would have very good knowledge of how to pick apart the Swan's game strategies, that would have been a factor. But its still a win in the record book.
-
Freo holding the line at the moment. 1Q down. (Autocorrect error)
-
Sun game makes me think about changing my tip from crows to lions? Go Sun's!
-
Is it starting with Brayshaw, getting five's from umpires? They favour successful teams and players in them.
-
They gave it to Hogan, the AFL can't have too many at one club.

Flower is simply number one, because: 1. Amazing skills and awareness, pure natural talent. 2. His consistency to do that over his entire career, not just a few stellar seasons. 3. He was a class above again when play state football with the best in the state/country at that time. 4. He was often injured but still amazing. Would have cracked 300 games if he wasn't hurt as much, as other clubs constantly targets him (as he was the best) and his build was splight. 5. Could play AFL today and still sit above current players. Not many players could play to the same level and class in different eras. Others Hopefully Oliver can match and possibly surpass him in the context of the modern game. The others were amazing talented, but unfortunately not long or consistently enough for our team success.

Freo may make it an almost perfect weekend, not for my tipping though
-
Freo/port - both are woeful, will the lose of Gray inspire or stop Port?
-
Possible draw!
-
he'll be managed to the best of the ability of the club. In many way's he still coming back from the foot injury and their may be some flare ups in the short term and hopefully it settles down over time? I rather him miss games know and knock it on the head early for the long term.

Last chance for Kennedy-Harris?

looked terrible before 1/2, once bulldogs dropped off looked better. Junk time potions which made his day look better than it was. But it is the first game up in ages so it may have taken him time to adjust, May keep his spot next week, but would be near the bottom of the list to stay in. -
On the wing was a free to Gawn, chopping the arms after he grabbed it. JKH is not up to it at AFL level, doesn’t think.

Fagan has a good steady approach to improving teams, helped us in the late 90s, then moved to hawks and nor Brissie. A very long apprenticeship to get where is at Brisbane,
-
Lions. Looking good, another goal, defending very well
-
We need to a hire a podiatrist full time at the club and assess all our footwear and surfaces we train on. Either we have players with the same genetic weakness or something is causing the stress.
-
Let’s see if the lions can sustain their lasth qtr, been a problem all year. But they should do it for us
-
Only 9 down at the half. Let’s what belief the6 have built up. Anyone gong to tag Mitchell? Or is his huge DT score at half time, high possession but not effective one?
-
Dane Swan put this on twitter for the blues friday night fixtures "Carlton should play on Monday arvo’s when everyone is at work so no one has to watch em. Floating fixture for Friday night games please; Classic...
-
What I saw of him in the few games I thought he looked the goods, especially when we started to slide and lost chunks of our backline. Funny how certain players stay on the list for ages but never really get opportunities with certain coaches.

Oliver is far ahead of duty at 20 yrs old. I look to see him keep improving not only skill and awareness but also his physical ability, remember he's still growing/developing and won't peak for another 5 years. He'll be our first true superstar since Lyon and Flower. (*Could have put swartz in there pre-acl) I had a look at that years draft this week of who came before and after and he's the pick the bunch, no one is near him. Considering he was considered an unexpected bolder at the time we took him. Whoever spotted him should be paid lots to find more.

Billy Stretch - Stress Fracture / Toe

really bad luck. He was good in his first appearance for the year, including hitting up targets from speed which we need him to do. I really would be looking at the boots the boys wear, unless his foot got stood or something during the game? -
but we aren't. Better effort, still need to work on delivery i50. But faster breaks with a faster team will help on a dry deck.
