About to sit down and watch it in Perth, very excited its been a great week. First final in 12 yrs (Better than my last attended final match in Perth v shockers). We have been playing good finals type footy the last 2 rounds, far better than when we played the cats each time this year. Stick to our system and let our talent show, and burn those cats.

As has been noted. Jimmy stepped in when he needed. But he needed an excellent CEO to run the club, not Schawb. If you match Jimmy with say a PJ, his tenure may be remembered very differently. No player needs a rest for rd23, they get the following week off. That will freshen up all the players with a week off.

As much as I like Watt's his efforts no longer fitted the expectations of the club. I would take a half fit Hogan over Watt's every game.

Obviously you didn't sit with the Western Dee's group and then go to the aftermath int he Subaico clubroom where Joe Gutnick was trying to rev's us up We had a big demon crowd that day, like at today's game. It was also our greatest winning margin agains them. Great game today, bets I have seen them play for awhile. Kept pressure on all day and trusted their teammates so we could keep the ball moving forward. Still some mistakes but the pressure kept WC getting the better of them.

Looking at today's results, if North loose is will be very hard for us to drop out of the 8. Port/North would have to win huge next week and loose by heaps. Unlikely we'll be blown away in either game. You think Lyon will be gone in two weeks.

Its hard to judge compared to other clubs, but at a glance it seems we have far more than we should. Did the pies have problems before us at our training venue? I don't remember any reports. So it must be another cause, or simply poor physical mechanics in our players that we need a biomechanical to fix ASAP.

Culture is not created in short term camps. No, I don't think they do it for fun, but on my experience with organisations both professional and sporting their impact is minimal and short term. But I don't think its part of a long term plan, otherwise the camps would be booked as a sequence years in advance. There are far better ways to improve our players.

A camp would not have helped yesterday. Building a culture of success takes time to build, In Sydney it took Barrasi to right the ship in the early 90's the Eade took over and bought some success. Roo's build on that for with his culture approach. I see Roo's time with us as where Barassi started with Sydney in the 90's. Yes we got Roo's so we have started the culture approach earlier and Goodwin was selected based upon that approach as well. Camp don't create culture everyday actions do.
