Dissapointing fade out. We were thoroughly outclassed, and I can see no excuse for this other than the better team won. We had a nice setup in the first quater, using run and flow to break Collingwood before finding the likes of Miller, Petterd and Green up forward. Collingwood slowly found control, and just when we needed someone to hold things up and show some composure - no one stood up. Pass marks to Jones, Moloney, Frawley, Morton, Davey & Rivers who I think were fantastic.

I'd say Buckley before Frawley.

You can be fit, but if you aint got the quality, you aint got it!

Close with miost. Bennell had a good debut an unlike many, he's got nice skills. McLean tried and was good.

Surely a joke? Bartrams skills were again poor - He's a liability. Johnson failed misreably to follow McIntosh, who ended up with 3 crutial goals.

So much positive. Lets just find a bit of direct run from Buckley and more Brock around the hard ball and I think we can win this.

Just wanted to add something here. I think the focal point in pushing Melbourne FC to the youth should be Aaron Davey. He's our most marketable item and gives our club a branding amoungst young kids around. The nickname 'Flash' is also something very marketable as well. Aaron is also the sort of bloke who would enjoy the interraction with the kids and one who would handle it in the right manner. Something to pass onto the club, or no?
