Newton - Has gotta go. Few moments of magic, Thanks I enjoyed those but see you later.
Bell - Has never came on. Average player with average skills.
Dunn - Should be played up forward for the rest of 09. Could and should make an impact.
Johnson - Got some positives including mobility. Keep as backup ruckman.
Buckley - Showed some real positives signs. Has some very natural attributes and will be an important part of the side going forward.
Zomer - At times has a poor attitude, but when he's on I like the look of him. Just a shame he wont ever make it.
Wheatley - Will be useful for a year yet. An old head needed amoung a team of youth's.
Valenti - Showed some good signs last year. At this stage a good midfield back-up, cant see him making it past the end of season delistings though.
We need Miller until such time as Watts is ready to hold down the main KPF spot and thus he isn't playing for his career.
Dunn will have another year yet. Does deserve a chance however.
A few years ago, yes. We weren't a wreck at the bottom then.
There would be a media outcry if a Melbourne player won the award and I also suggest the judges will take into account our poor finish. I just can't see the award going to Grimes, I dont think the AFL will let this happen.
Bell won't come good. He's had numerous chances but again and again he has shown lack of vision, awareness and his apparent 'good' skills continually let him down.
Leave him at VFL level, where he belongs.
Jamar was dominant in the ruck yesterday, but lets not forget he was coming up against Lynch who is not at all proven and third gamer Naitanui.
He's going to have to improve to go with the likes of Jolly, Hudson, Cox, Sandilands.
