A friend of mine in Brisbane who does a bit of part time work on the AFL section for the Courier Mail has told me theres a rumour around Brisbane at the moment that Travis Johnstone wants a return to the MFC. Hes apparently unhappy at lack of time in the midfield and his insignificance within the team. Dont shoot the messenger

I'm to very optimistic. The playing squad will be excellent in three years, its now just a matter of sorting out our off-field worries. Which im sure Jimmy will take care of. I hope Meesen makes the cut by the way.

His about as untradable as Brad Green and Brock McLean IMO. Hes versatile, and one of the only tall forwards we have at the moment.

Wheatley is close to our best player. He can play absoloutly anywhere. He's got a good overhead mark. Sublime foot skills. A bit of dash and not a bad engine to go with it. Not to forget he can play on small or talls.

Brock is a courageous fella. Always gives 100% and works so hard to find the footy as much as he does. He's got a big future with the MFC.
