Why should GCS be given a priority pick when they’re going to get a trade with the Blues for a quality player like Jack Martin who should be netting them a first round pick but will probably cost a second rounder? They already have plenty of first rounders including one who has yet to play at all. First round picks aren’t going to help them anyway if they can’t be nurtured and want to leave at the first possible opportunity.

That’s why we will offer a first round pick for him. We’ll keep the second rounder for Hill and both will spend the majority of 2020 in rehab. We should also be chasing the only bloke on Brisbane’s list who’s injured at the moment.

And the connection with Jesse is the fact that the Marsh brothers come from WA and their collective scores match the chances there were that Melbourne would accept the Fremantle offer.
My guess is the reason why we would pay for him would be to play some good footy.
They definitely have to do something about this because I've noticed this sort of thing creeping into kids' games. Did the AFL send a memo out to the coaches this week?
Not sure if anybody has considered this but Kieren Collins is a fair sized unit and a strong key position defender who some believe is not that far behind Weitering. I don't believe Essendon will pass over Weideman if we take a mid with pick 3. Collins might well be the player to go for with 7.
