  1. Well they starved me of bananas for one thing. They allowed our game against the Cats to be in the middle of the night for another. They didn't cover the game in the press for another. No replays either. Need to get back to civilisation.
  2. Wonder if he is on our radar? Swans are going to have to offload some players. Am away but don't think he has been getting a game with them.
  3. Back in Melbourne Thursday and no Dees to watch this weekend and only on telly the next. Looking forward to going to another game to see our batch of youngsters,
  4. Not sure about that but the Saints clearly didn't.We were always going to get Angus, it was only a question of whether the Saints took McCartin, a "need" , or Petracca, who most saw as "best".
  5. Well, well, well. My optimism for our future might be well founded after all.
  6. Well done boys I thought we would get smashed. Am o/s and have taped the game on my Foxtel remote, can't wait to get home and see it. Go Dees.
  7. How many has he missed this time?
  8. Huh. 6.12. To. 11.2.
  9. I am away at the moment, is Clark injured or Is it his other issue?
  10. IMO Fitzy will stay and I am unsure on Hunt as he really hasn't had an injury free go at it yet. Pretty sure he will be given another year.I think they may look at Michie and Riley if they are looking to move another player on.
  11. If you looked at this week's side you would think we were tanking, until you looked at our injury list.
  12. Who said it would be offered?
  13. We now have 3 players out for the season and about another 10 out for various numbers of weeks. Nothing changes.
  14. Wrong thread, bananas belong on the No T$ thread.
  15. His father became a great player for us, but it was after he was 21 he started showing ability. His son may be in the same mould.
  16. Maybe.
  17. So would I and my Foxtel subscription as well and my MCC and AFL memberships too.
  18. I think he is protecting his players.
  19. Unfortunately we do let things like this happen over and over again. Our leaders are to blame from what I am read happened as I didn't see it. Smart players would have gone back into defence, to flood the backline, stopping a quick shot,as it would have been hard to find a loose forward and forcing any shot to be from outside say 60 and likely to be taken away by a loose defender or at the least causing a stoppage. The leaders should have told the others what to do. The best mids should have gone into the middle and if nothing else, forced a couple of more stoppages after the goal ball up. That would have seen the game out. That is what smart teams do. We are not a smart team, clearly. I am certain Roos would have told them this over the pre season and during the game. Every Coach would send players back in the same situation and I am sure Roos tried to. Too many of our players turn the ball over and in critical situations and especially close to the opposition goals, when a long kick along the boundary is still a reasonable opposition if you can't find a clear player to pass to. IMO we have too many dumb footballers. We also have far too many poorly skilled footballers. That is the main reason we lose games.
